Should I Go to the Governor's School?

Archive: 15 posts

I will most definitely get in. Basically it is a super-advanced school for us smarty-pantses () and it will probably help me get into a good college (I'm going for MIT [might see you in massachusetts {spelled wrong?} Marino ]). ****, three parentheses/brackets! Anyway they teach a lot of languages and interesting classes but the downers are: no school football team (can always root for my sisters or something), far away (long bus ride), like NO friends are going, and 100% nerds (at least it'll be 99% once I get in ). If I don't go here, I could go to the school known for extreme cliques which wouldn't be fun or I could go to an extremely ghetto (no offense intended) school where I WILL (:eek get beat up. Or I could just go to the normal school with no specialty. What should I do?2008-10-29 00:02:00

Well, I don't know about your past, but it took me years to get the kids in my school to accept me in some form, and wouldn't intend on starting over no matter what. >_>

But, um, yeah. Go to that super smart school and be a NERD, mon!

I was accepted immediatley because I had gone to school with the kids for 6 yers before Middle School. In 7th grade I started having more serious friendships with new people and now its even better in 8th. It's not hard for me to make friends considering my personality and that I'm not shy. AT ALL

I thought you were just describing the school. I obviously was wondering if it was a school belonging to a Governor.

honestly... go to the best school possible. and if ur not a nerd, than you should have problem owning their lives. over here in chicago, if you have a problem you fight it out... just walk into school and dropkick the dean of students... lol jk2008-10-29 02:19:00
