I recently got a issue of gameinformer because of some deal that my brother got at gamestop, and I thought that it had a lot of great stuff in it! I was thinking about subscribing but I wasn't sure. Is there anyone here who is currently subscribed to it? And if so, could you tell me if it is a good deal or not? Thanks.

You get a years subscription from getting an Edge card, but it's a nice magazine. I enjoy reading it and it's very informative.

We'll, I have a relative subscribed but I get the magazines. GameInformer mainly have a few things: Comments area: Various readers can email GI staff, and some of there emails are posted in the magazine with the GI staff answering the question or statement. Art winners: Every issue is a little art contest, 5 winners are chosen, the art consists of various game art ranging from Solid Snake to Master Chief beating up Mario. GI puts up some hilarious comments about each picture too. Preview: GI plays an upcoming game, such as Bioshock: Infinite, and writes a detailed review of what they saw with screenshots. Review: They play released games, rate it, give second opinions, and say what good and bad about the game. Other: Every once and a while, they'll have special issues, like E3 or their 200th issue, which featured 200 games with an opinion of why they thought they were some the best. All in all it's sometimes interesting and the captions they put on pictures (for video games and art) are usually really funny. They have a neat website too. (http://gameinformer.com/)

I have a couple of friends who are subscribed to it. If you really enjoy reading about the newest games, updates and info, comments from users, funny stuff, etc., then that is a very good magazine to subscribe to. As for myself, I do find the stuff in there to be interesting. But since I never read magazines anyways, I don't think it's for me..

I have a couple of friends who are subscribed to it. If you really enjoy reading about the newest games, updates and info, etc., then that is a very good magazine to subscribe to. As for myself, I do find the stuff in there to be interesting. But since I never read magazines anyways, I don't think it's for me.. I forgot to mention there can be a lot of text sometimes... They also have various articles in each one, some are interviews and some are the analysis of game controllers, changes each time. Also also, the have a top 10 list with various subjects, like top 10 cutest characters, which Sackboy made it onto that list somewhere...

Yeah, I got the issue with the huge article about Bioshock: Infinite and I think that I read every article in there. I found it all very interesting and enjoyed reading everything. How can you subscribe to it? Can you go to gamestop and subscribe to it or something?

Yeah the Mag is great and the website is cool too. They gave LBP PSP a 8.5. Also check the Replay section under hubs, its pretty cool.

You buy a magazine at GameStop and they ask you if you want to subscribe. IMO It's not really worth It, I just get it because I'm too lazy to end my subscription, even though I work AT GameStop. You can just read all the important articles on their website :/

I can get the mag in my nearest grocery store. In the magazine there is a subscription card or three. Just fill it out and mail it in.
