Retired NORAD Officer's New Book Predicts a Tentative Worldwide UFO Display on October 13, 2010
A newly-published book by a retired NORAD officer predicts October 13, 2010 as the tentative date for a fleet of extraterrestrial vehicles to hover for hours over the earth's principal cities. Author says the event to be the first in a series intended to avert a planetary catastrophe resulting from increasing levels of carbon-dioxide in the earth's atmosphere dangerously approaching a "critical mass."

Winnipeg, MB (PRWEB) September 13, 2010 -- A newly-published 352-page book by a retired Air Force officer, Stanley A. Fulham, tentatively predicts October 13, 2010 as the date for a massive UFO display over the world?s principal cities. According to the author, the aliens will neither land nor communicate on that date; they are aware from eons of experience with other planets in similar conditions their sudden intervention would cause fear and panic.

The book, Challenges of Change (3rd ed.), reports this event will be the initial interaction in a process leading to mankind?s acceptance of the alien reality and technologies for the removal of poisonous gases from the earth?s atmosphere in 2015, if not sooner.

The author draws upon his military experience with the UFO phenomenon dating back to WW2, and later, with NORAD and his subsequent life-long association with a senior NORAD intelligence officer who provided him a wealth of historical data relating to NORAD?s experience with the UFO/alien reality which has never been revealed to the public. In the military's view, as conveyed to and understood by Fulham, the public is not yet ready to accept an alien reality.

Fulham writes it is generally recognized UFOs function beyond our earth's physical laws, and has concluded answers to questions regarding who they are, where are they from, why are they here, are they a threat, and the mystery of abductions could only be found at a higher dimension of reality.

For more than a decade, through the services of a world renowned channeler, the author has communicated with an ethereal group of entities known as the Transcendors -- 43,000 very old souls who combine their vast experience and knowledge through eons of incarnations, providing advice and information to humans in search of basic realities of mankind?s existence.

The book Challenges of Change reports on the author?s years of communication with the Transcendors in a question and answer format intended to inform and challenge. The Transcendors reveal through the author crucial information about urgent global challenges facing mankind such as earth changes, international terrorism, worldwide financial collapse and the environmental crisis. One revelation is al Qaeda has a dirty nuclear bomb and WMD, but faces a moral quandary over ?containment of collateral damages.?

Utilizing the theme of the Four Horsemen as symbolic metaphor, Fulham warns mankind will survive all of these future challenges, except the CO2 pollution of our atmosphere. According to information provided to the author by the Transcendors, the build-up of CO2 pollution is rising 1% annually to a ?critical mass? of 22% in which mankind could not survive ?without outside intervention.?

According to Fulham, the Transcendors state they have borne witness to countless thousands of alien civilizations who polluted their planets to total extinction where not a single being, animal or plant survived. They urgently warn planet earth is presently on the same self-destructive path. Fulham reports the aliens are well aware of our environmental crisis, and have benevolently decided to rescue mankind in this vast universal drama.

Fulham has been in contact with a distinguished foreign ambassador who read the book with great interest and dispatched it to his home government, where it was translated and studied by hundreds of their top government officials.

A website containing videos of the author discussing his research conclusions and other vital information has been created at: http://sites.google.com/site/challengesofchange

Fulham clarifies there are no absolutes; the principal of free will and choice that exits with all souls precludes all absolute realities, and the aliens may decide to postpone their intervention -- but the Transcendors confirm it will nonetheless occur in 2010. Quoting the author, the event will "occur this year, in what will surely be one of the great dramas of our galaxy, the introduction of their alien civilizations and technologies to mankind. We are not alone, and our world will have changed forever."

My favourite part:

Fulham clarifies there are no absolutes... and the aliens may decide to postpone their intervention

So it's definitely, definitely going to happen, unless it doesn't. And if it doesn't, obviously that doesn't debunk the guy who claims he knows what he's talking about.

Maybe just like the NA beta codes, if it doesn't happen today the invasion will be "soon"!!!!

...or quite possibly like in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, due to a terrible miscalculation of scale the entire battle fleet was swallowed by a small dog.

Oh my. This is news to me. Everyone should be building riot shields and anti-tractor beam suits.

..maybe their warp drive will malfunction due to interstellar particles.

-Remind me, what was supposed to happen on 10/10/10? I never even knew.

How kind of them! This would be a good SF plot! But this would be fantastic too! If you leave out all the stuff about the Earth's destruction, of course...

How do they know they didn't already visit in one place where it was like 3 - 4am, in a silnt non-flashy way and left already?
I mean, heck, no one ever said A"" space ships have those thosadns of light everywhere like in Sci-Fi, no? XD

And no one would've noticed...
(Well maybe one or 2, but they'd be treated as urban legends, jokes, and lies.. )

If they hadn't mastered quantum thrusters for interstellar space travel, then they either set of thousands of years ago, or they aren't here!

And if they do have quantum thrusters, I'm pretty sure earth technology would be useless against them!

There is no possibility that Aliens have ever even come close to our solar system.

It's a simple question of probability.

The probability of creating the "hyperspace" travel technology needed to jump between star systems is so remote, that the chances of it happening are 1 time through-out the entire life-time of the universe. There are physical properties to the universe that prevent that kind of thing (as close to impossible as makes no difference).

So even if there was a civilisation out there that had the capability of creating intersteller travel, the chances of them creating it during the length of time that the human race has been around for get's even more remote (closer to impossible by many times over)

& The chances that this civilisation, once it had discovered interstellar travel, would last long enough to explore the length and bredth of the universe in order to find us, makes the chances even more remote (Even closer to impossible, by a factor of many times)

& The chances that such an advanced race would be remotely interested in a backward bunch of talking apes is even remoter still. (so close to impossible, that you may aswell say "It's impossible").

I'm not saying UFO's do not exist... I know they exist, Me & my Brother have seen them with our own eyes, and my brother is the biggest sceptic you could ever meet. If he hadn't been there with me when we saw it, I would have thought I had imagined it.
But going by the principle of Occam's Razor - they are most certainly terrestrial of origin.
I would put my own experience down to either a natural, as yet unexplained atmospheric phenomenon, or secret government testing (I do live quite close to a military base - and the area is considered a 'UFO Hotspot&apos.
Now that could either be because the area is filled with crazy loons who make stuff up - or there really is strange lights that move in strange ways in the skies above my town.
But there is no reason what-so-ever to suppose that those strange lights are Alien craft - considering the possibilities that it is.

And that's not to say life doesn't exist elsewhere in the universe - it almost certainly does... but the chances of us making contact with it are so remote, that we may aswell not even entertain the idea.
To suggest anything else is to grossly underestimate the sheer size and scale of the universe.

In the words of the immortal Douglas Adams;
"Space is big. Really big. I mean, you might think it's a long way down to the shops, but that's just peanuts to space!"

Also, on macnme's note;

i'd may swell say that traveling anywhere close to light speed for an object of any significant size, would mean that specs of dust would leave holes in *any* physical armor ( as impacts with even dust particles would lend to the forces of say, huge impacts at the normal speeds of our transportation), so to have any chance of getting here with decent speed from even alpha centuri, would mean you would first have to make some kind of "forcefield" that does not rely on using matter as protection, but rather.. Some sort of magnetism or artificial atmosphere.. Or.. something...

...you get the point, I think.

...also note that the word UFO means unidentified flying object, which could mean anything from the ISS to a plastic bag.

Plus, the physical pressure on anything larger than an atom travelling at light speed would cause it to tear itself apart... never mind the forces if it were to actually collide with something.
Sci-Fi has gotten round this by "inventing" the FTL (faster than light) drive (Star Treks "Warp Drive") - which rather than move through space, creates a wormhole who's entrance is at one point in the universe, and the exit at another - and you pass through from entrance to exit without actually "travelling" through the interveneing space.

Nice theory - only it's also impossible... Wormholes do exist on a quantuum level... but anything larger than quantum scale and the wormhole would devour itself - causing a force feedback that could tear the fabric of space time apart... so the wormholes close in on themselves before being able to get to the point where they can actually destroy the universe. Again, another in-built physical property of the universe designed to stop that kind of thing from happening.

Basically, it can't happen - sorry to dissapoint.

Actually, this is one point that I genuinely don't agree with. Do you really think that sentient beings aren't interested in creatures less developed than themselves? We only have to look at ourselves to know this is nonsense. Simply studying the creatures of this one planet we have is the life's work and passion of many people and I don't believe that a more advanced race would have given up on science, quite the opposite in fact. Hell, even to the common person, the idea of extraterrestrial life is fascinating, and with it being such a difficult thing to come into contact with, I would have thought that if all the other possibilities converged into them finding us, then the novelty value alone would increase the odds of them making contact.

Whether or not that contact would be pleasant or not is another matter

Whether or not that contact would be pleasant or not is another matter

It doesn't matter, because at this rate we would likely detect any sort of sizable object moving at non-destructive speeds. Right? XD

And, we have weapons that will shred just about any thing either way. (Again, so long as it is only using physical shielding, which it wouldn't be, but then again we don't know of any way to make a strong enough magnetic/other shield.)

... Wait, we havnt even discussed the anti gravity generators the UFO would have to use to be able to fly in our atmosphere..

This reminds me of spore where, at endgame, you were so powerful that if anyone mildly annoyed you you could cut a swathe of destruction through their entire empire, wiping out all life on all of their colonies until you arrive at their homeworld and just obliterate the planet.

Or was that just me that did that?
