I find this to be a problem as well. Many times, I get so bored with the level I am creating, I begin a new one with a totally different idea. Also, I sometimes get ideas for an awesome obstacle or something that just wouldn't fit in the level I was currently working on. So I end up putting it in a new level...

It's hard for me to stick with a single level for a long time. I need some variety.

My advice: Don't work on one level for to long, Work on one, work on another, then another, then work on the first one, etc. 2010-10-13 15:52:00

Great advice, I'm always working on two or three things at once

I'm also of the mind-set to work on several things at once. It's mainly because I'm a procrastinator at heart, but I too get sidetracked by new ideas. Take my current series I'm working on. I have 4 separate levels all dealing with objects and ideas to do with only one part of the storyline. I get an idea for an object or level set peice that won't fit into what I'm currently working on in the story and ZOOM... off I go to create a new level to throw it into and completely leave the other level be. But, I do always come back to it every few days, and start working on it again. For me, it keeps things fresh, alleviates my boredom, and keeps me from getting fed up or frustrated with what I'm working on. Sure it takes me longer to finish a project, but I'm confident that when I am done... it will be a better end product.2010-10-13 22:25:00

Umm... Never mind. Sigh...

Anyways, after a few days of working on a single level, I seem to get kind of bored. So when this happens, I tend to find one of my friends to play or create with. It takes the level off my mind for a while so I can enjoy myself. And of course there is always that... go outside option...
