Limbo

Hey guys, Shining Aquas here.

Not sure if anyone hasn't heard of it already, but the Xbox 360 crowd got themselves a really fancy jewel of a game with Limbo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV-0w8I-oAc).
It's an absolutely fantastic game (outside of it's rather expensive $15 mark) and a definite must for fans of the puzzle platforming genre.

Since the creators pretty much guaranteed that there will never be any releases for PS3 or PC, I would like to recreate it for the PS3 audience. I firmly believe everyone that can should be able to experience this game, and I plan to team up with a friend of mine to try and make it happen.

I've played the LBP1 remake, but it's only like, a small portion of the first level of the actual game.
I'd love to see the whole thing be recreated In LBP2 it would definetly be alot better.

The visual style is the main attraction I think, otherwise it doesn't look like it has much over other platformers such as Trine perhaps.2010-10-12 16:49:00

The visual aesthetic is definitely the strongest point, but it also stands as a very solid puzzle platformer on it's own.

Hahaha I'm supposed to be making a Limbo lvl, but like all of my other projects I've been putting it off. I should really finish it shouldn't I???? Anyways, hope you DO finish it and don't slack off like me. Good luck with that!! Btw I could help you with somethings if you want me to. Not an actual "member" of the project I guess you could say, but yeah. I could help.2010-10-13 04:26:00

Yeah I hear you. I was supposed to be working on a Cave Story remake in LBP1, but decided not to do it until 2 came out.

Limbo just sounds like a much more manageable project, like one that seems completable in less than a year.
After this, I'll probably take another look at Cave Story....
