It's more of a platform level with some nice thunder effects in the end. Feel free to tell me your thoughts about this level. Suggestions to improve the level are always welcome. I would love to give constructive feedback, but I don't see anything here that looks interesting to me. Please post some pictures of your level so that we can all see what you have created before running downstairs to our PS3 to play it. The level itself was great...excellent platforming...good use of stickers and gameplay was decent. However...the story didn't really fit the level to me. I'm not one to complain about the story...i've never really tried to put one in a level so hats off to you for that...but to me it just didn't go along with the setting. Who knows... I did however have a good time playing it...which is why i rated it 5 stars and gave it a heart... To me...if levels aren't fun they are not worth playing! I just played your level and heres my feedback Positives: +Design of the level look really good +Platforming was okay +Visuals looked good +Obstacles were well did +Details from 3rd & 4th picture looked good Negatives: -The room with the platforms rising up & down, theres a switch to the bottom right that I didnt have to use because I got to the red button & to the top area without having to use the switch for anything. One of the best levels ever! Visually stunning, very fun and challenging. I'd make 2 suggestions. First, regarding the very first "high-jump" (where you first jump on a button and get launched up high). The way the walls are set up, it seems at first like a dead end. It took me forever trying to solve this "puzzle" before I realized I could move to the back layer to get past the wall. So suggestion 1 is to make this passage a little more obvious, somehow. Suggestion 2 is to perhaps include a few more checkpoints. This is a very challenging level, and someone who's a bit reflex-and-timing-challenged like me will die a lot. Just my two cents. This is one of the best levels I've played. I gave it 5 stars, a "beautiful" tag (because it is), and hearted it to play again later. thanks a lot guys. I'm gonna add some more checkpoints and maybe leave the speech bubbles out completely. I also put the second switch a bit higher so it's not reachable without using the two way switch. I was play your level and i like it so much, the design, the platformer, the use of the sticker is very very good, i like the rooms, the obstacles is a good level, it has diversity of actions and it makes it entertaining, i have liked much what you have done in this work. Ok, let me just say that level was a blast. The visuals were great, and it's easy to tell you spent some time tweaking the mechanics to get the platforming to feel right. Well done! Decent camera work along with good stickering made a pleasant level to look at, and the switch in the middle kept it from feeling the least bit dull and repetitive... My only complaint was this: I played your level well the first time...very well, so much so that by the end I was praying for the scoreboard so I could say I Aced it first try...which in my opinion I did, though there's no record of it thanks to the teleporter at the end . Just my opinion, but a level based around platforming should be completely possible to Ace, even though I understand the reasoning behind the gas. That being said... Five stars and a Heart, great job mate, I thoroughly enjoyed playing your level (even though I felt a lil robbed at the end)... Thanks a lot for the feedback Evilwuun Yeah....the teleporter at the end is kinda frustrating but i was at the end of the map and had no other chance to get sackboy to the scoreboard without overheating the level. So the teleporter was the only option. Maybe I could let sackboy being catapulted to the scoreboard or so. This level is a pretty basic platformer, but it shines at that. The visuals are good at the beginning and great at the end, the gameplay feels fresh even though some of the obstacles are a bit basic and the pacing is (apart from the beginning elevator) excellent. The usual thing that comes into my mind when there are a lot of medium-sized decorations used is that the level feels kind of... Messy. Fortunately, that feeling was near to non-existant somehow here.(But you should'nt listen to me on that one anyway, lol. Alot of people like small details.) I think that this level should have some kind of a story, it would feel a lot more adventurous, now it kind of feels like a painting that's wanting to say something. But yeah, with the pacing and the set of easy/medium obstacles you have managed to create a level that is very enjoyable to play. The visuals top it off by being clean and crisp at the beginning and dark and kind of exciting at the end. Okay I played and heres my review. In the begining of the level I didnt really like the disegn of the area but It looked better later on the game. The game is challanging which is a good thing and you presented it really well. The decorations were placed nicely and It looked beutiful. Positives: Good gameplay. Nice effects. Loved both of your levels that I played last night. The other was the dominos (whoa.....simply breathtaking and soooo much fun). After you fall down, at the end of the first "segment" it difficult to see where to go. I know there are pink arrow stickers, but a different camera angle would help. Be careful with decorations.... I couldn't see where to go at one point, you had to go right behind a wall. Also, I thought the ending was a bit of an anti-climax, but you probably don't have the thermo to change it. This level was fun - visuals were a bit iffy... Though definitely not bad! The change between themes was very unexpected, but instead of stickered dissolve, why not have cow-glitched material? I will now sum the level up in bullet points: PROS: ? Fair gameplay ? Interesting theme switch midway ? Unique visuals CONS: ? Some areas needed polishing E.G: The rails/fence on the sides of the stairs were a bit plain - maybe make it so it isn't one material? ? Some of the visuals were iffy E.G: the green/brown stickered materials looked strange and better without the stickers ? The use of the lava object E.G: Well, every time it's used, really - it's just not very good looking - have you seen the glitched material of it? Try it! It's in Aya's level Garden of Goodies and Rhys' level Power of the Planet.
