sticker glitch

Archive: 5 posts

sticker glitch really annoying me.
I try to build with the backboard covering the entire level and corners randomly have no stickers on them
I try to place another sticker on but no use,the sticker isn't getting placed.
I cut the backboard in half with the cut tool but then we have both halves with stickers missing.

Wondering if there is a solution
if there is please reply.

no idea how to stop this, it's a pain in the *** and affects to most of my levels, i try to not make the stickers way too big or hide them behind other materials/objects but still nothing is perfect...2010-10-11 16:55:00

Smaller objects, smaller stickers, space the stickers out if you can.
If they glitch to the point where you see random pixels, that means they are embedded into the material and theres no way to save that material.(that i know of) :/

I have had this happen before. I think I also have the solution, undo, then Redo, if that dosen't work, invite a friend, then once they spawn, undo. Hope this helps, and good luck! 2010-10-12 01:32:00

Bremnen has the basics on this, the best way to get past the sticker glitch is to not try to expand stickers so large that they cover a big area. The bigger the sticker is made the more likely you run into this glitch.

Even though you cut the backboard in half you may want to try cutting it into smaller and smaller bits. Another method that has been suggested by some people is if you have a backboard where there is a strip of material where the sticker is disappearing from then you can try either hiding that section of the backboard by putting stuff in front of it or cutting away that section of the backboard.

This glitch is very annoying and makes it hard to conveniently sticker a large area but you can usually avoid it if you keep your stickers to a moderate size. Good luck
