So, maybe it's just me, but LBPcentral feels a bit like a party at a strangers house, where you don't know anyone...everybody else chats it up, loving each others levels, and the new guy sits in the corner sipping a rum and coke feeling lonely...

When I first started hanging out at LBPC I found the best way to get to know people and let them know your here and willing to get involved is to play people's levels in the level showcase and leave feedback for them. Good Luck

Don't worry, you'll fit in soon. A good suggestion would be to make an introductory thread i the Introductions forum (if you haven't already) to get to know who is friendly etc. Then, once you find some people who reply to that thread who sound nice, just start messaging them on their profile. You'll soon make friends, I met a lot of really nice members this way. Good luck! ^_^

General threads are not the best way to get known, but it can work sometimes. I'd say try to leave feedback in the level showcase, partcipate in contests, even if you believe you won't win. You might have something other people don't and maybe that'll get you noticed. Hope that helps.

There are various ways m8, but mainly you just gotta be active, how can you spect people to recognize you if you're not seen anywhere but in a single section of the forums? Post a lot. (without spamming/ double posting of course, that'd just get you in trouble.) The reason myny say I became "known" was because of my hyper-activity in the forums. XD A solid/ original username helps too, which I gotta say you got well. A signature that's unique as well too, with a recognizable avatar helps really good, since many people recognize other users on avatars only, otherwise you're "just a lint" to them. (sometimes0 So yeah, Just get your Avi/ sig and activity on and you'll soon more attnetion than you want to. Hope that helps! Sigh, I wish the old days You wish the old days...what? XD

I like rum and coke. Anyways, my advice would be.. - Post! In a non spammy way of course. - Leave some feedback on some showcase levels that interest you. - Add images/pics to your levels! I rarely play levels without them. - Find an avatar that displays your personality. - Show off some art if that's your thing. - Make unique levels. (I'll be sure to check yours out)

Hahahaha don't worry about it. Just start posting in a lot of threads. I don't post all that much, but I think people are starting to get to know me.(Are they? idk) One thing I suggest though. Get some sort of avatar and sig, that way people can distinguish you from others
