I thought it was ok. It definitely has an interesting multiplayer... It is a little slow for my taste though, I wish it was a little more fast-paced. Other than that, yes I think it is pretty fun. 2010-10-11 05:40:00

Ohhhh, how can you get it? I never bought the first game but I intend to do so as the second game looks quite brilliant and so I want to know what happened first.2010-10-11 15:40:00

I am not so impressed. I do like the variants of the necros, but all in all it seems kinda "been there done that"

edit* I do not know the criteria for getting invited. I do not really like EA so I dont own any EA games, yet I was invited.

Wait, theres multiplayer? Howd you get the beta?I also have the beta. As far as how you get it, like I said I do not own any EA games, have never played Dead Space, but I got a psn message inviting me. I do have plus but I think if it was based on that Sony would have made a big deal about it being based on plus. So its seems to be a mystery2010-10-11 22:23:00

No I don't think you can, it would be really cool if you could. Zombies FTW!!
(BTW, is that me, in your sig, Ragnarok?! )
EDIT: Oh wait, you changed your sig now. But I still wanna know if that was me.

Moonwire, I would recommend buying the first game, it would help to learn about what happened to Isaac Clarke in the first game, as he is in the second game. If you wish, you can add me, as I understand the story in Dead Space, I could help you understand too. There are many formats Dead Space is in, games, books, comics, movies. Here is the chronological order of events (as I believe):
Dead Space: Martyr (Book)
Dead Space: Extraction (Prequel game on the Nintendo Wii*)
Dead Space: Downfall (Movie)
Dead Space (Main Game)
Dead Space: Retribution (Book)
Dead Space: Aftermath (Movie)
Dead Space: Ignition (Game, downloadable)
Dead Space 2 (Sequel to the main game)

There are also comic book versions of some of these, such as Dead Space: Extraction, available in comic book format. Also, take note that not all of these are released yet. And these are all that I know, there might be more than the list says.
*EA stated that they might release DS: Extraction on the PS3 and Xbox360. Where I got this info is at Gamespot.com

Aww, well I guess Ill have to stick to singularity which actually does let u infect :3 :3 :3, the fact i asked that its because on the singularity online you can use a spider and jump onto enemy soldiers and possess their bodies and use the weapons they currently have! And seeing as dead space has some similar creatures (i.e. the flying skull) It would have been pretty amusing, and the guy on my sig, no sorry to disappoint, its another person who requested a pixel sack
