So we get to laugh at the Alpha generation and say "Haha we were there for the first 12 years of the century"?

Actually, yesterday was "10-10-2010" not "10-10-10" (which happened roughly 2000 years ago).

Back when we had to deal with the Y2K bug, the government decided that we would never again refer to a year with only the last 2 digits, which prevents the same issues from occurring until we reach the year 10,000 A.D., which is still a ways off. At that point, most likely the year we are in will be referred to as "02010".

Or.... when we reach the year 10,000, they may change it to "0 B.A.D." (Beta Anno Domini").

all these numbers must mean something! o,o
*checks google*

typed 10/10/10 and got:
(10 / 10) / 10 = 0,1

typed 11/11/11 and got:
(11 / 11) / 11 = 0,0909090909

typed 12/12/12 and got:
(12 / 12) / 12 = 0,0833333333

lets calculate!
5 + 5 + 5 = 15

0,1 + 0,0909090909 - 0,0833333333 / 15 = 0,0071717171713333

3 x 3 = 9

0,0071717171713333 x 9 = 0,0645454545419997

0,0645454545419997 = binary = 00110000001100000011011000110100001101010011010000 11010100110100001101010011010000110101001101000011 000100111001001110010011100100110111

what could this mean?
