Three ideas for LBP2
Archive: 16 posts
You know how sometimes you want something to be activate when sackboy touches it, but we have to use sensor switches and its never 100% accurate. It could be useful for doors and other stuff. And for sackbots, it could be useful to have a slap switch. So that way you could beat up a sackbot and depending on the creator it can activate various things. Now my most wanted idea, A FREAKING OPTION FOR NO SLAPPING IN THE LEVEL! No more dealing with people who decide to start punching you off an edge to your death over and over and for people who decide they wanna repeatedly punch you! :star::star::star::star::star: idea! | 2010-10-11 01:22:00 Author: TehKing21 Posts: 26 |
I've always wanted a player impact sensor instead of a button too! I would make things so much easier. Slap switch and no slapping is also really cool too. | 2010-10-11 01:34:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |
1. What was the first idea? 2. That would probably be useful 3. I think you can do that with sackbots | 2010-10-11 01:34:00 Author: Unknown User |
1. There already is an impact switch. Can be set to be activated by sackpeople, objects, tags, etc. 2. Probably possible with some advanced logic. 3. Nice Idea! Great Ideas! | 2010-10-11 01:40:00 Author: Super_Clone Posts: 849 |
1. There already is an impact switch. Can be set to be activated by sackpeople, objects, tags, etc. I'm pretty sure the impact sensor can't be tweaked to respond to sackpersons only. It's annoying like that. | 2010-10-11 02:00:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

But then you have to be a sackbot. Still, cool that it is in now, buttons were getting annoying!. I'd rather have a slap switch than advanced + inaccurate logic. | 2010-10-11 03:11:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |
I'm pretty sure the impact sensor can't be tweaked to respond to sackpersons only. It's annoying like that. But tag filtering of impact switch will work on sackbot vs sackbot i suppose? (i will check myself tomorrow) they should add player filtring too Sackbot can be slap resistant by Material Tweaker.Yea, another prove that Sackboys are endangered thanks to sackbots | 2010-10-11 04:08:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

Cool ideas because sometimes it is so annoying when people keep on slapping you and don't even give you a chance to get back up and GRRRRRR Hopefully MM will implement these stuff, | 2010-10-12 19:59:00 Author: Junkyardassissan Posts: 164 |
I admit, those are some great ideas! But for the slapping, it is amusing AT TIMES, maybe there should be a maximum for how many times a player can use the smacking feature. Anyways, why smack? It makes my sack look like a woman, it's about time MM adds 'Punching' to a Sack's abilities! | 2010-10-12 21:17:00 Author: Smart_Alex Posts: 189 |
But then you have to be a sackbot. Still, cool that it is in now, buttons were getting annoying!. I'd rather have a slap switch than advanced + inaccurate logic. I think I my levels Ill be using sackbots instead of sackboy 95% of the time. They are far more customiseable in terms of gameplay and you can dress them according to your storyline and setting. | 2010-10-12 21:30:00 Author: Jordanmcc Posts: 94 |

For my supprice most of levels in beta use sackboy. Also read about wireless controlinator where you can add extra controls without using sackbot | 2010-10-12 21:58:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
But then you have to be a sackbot. Still, cool that it is in now, buttons were getting annoying!. I'd rather have a slap switch than advanced + inaccurate logic. You can just set a sackbot to look like player 1 and hook up a direct control seat so it looks like your still yourself. | 2010-10-12 22:35:00 Author: Schwem00 Posts: 255 |
Clever, but the last idea, um I have to disagree, slapping is fun, and i dont know about you but seriously, why are you concerned when you get slapped off a ledge or something, it's LBP, a place where we can have fun and enjoy ourselves, slapping is a part of that experience. but yes, you should be able to set your gender so girls slap, and guys punch, that would be great. | 2010-10-13 00:56:00 Author: Merc Posts: 2135 |
@Mercuy77, Sackbot don't need to be a player and slapping is not worst thing that happened to antagonists in LBP1 ;] | 2010-10-13 01:21:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
