Call of Duty 5 WaW

Well I couldn't find a thread on this and I was not too suprised.. no one wants to go back to WWII and play as the same people like the past 2 CoD's.. but this was actually seems decent. Seeing how there was a Beta.. there has been lots of great reviews on it and I saw them test REAL gun shot sounds for this game so it'd be realistic and I have to say, Treyarch is stepping their game up for sure. Treyarch has tried to do this in many ways, they've taken things out and put things in the game, they've added new features(our lovely perks), and thank GOD! They have taken out the god **** helicopter and replaced it with attack dogs! I have to say, the helicopter was way to accurate and with attack dogs, people will be forced to help the team by shooting the dogs down! More to come when I read more reviews.. ha

I also saw this NEW CoD5 commercial on BET. C5TQVSxQEPA
It is a commercial for Gamestop that when you pre-order, you get the M1A1(for 24 hours of Multiplayer) 64 levels early, and with that many levels early?! It has to be a great offer.

So I hope you guys, the CoD fans that didn't feel like buying CoD5 because we were going back to WWII and Treyarch was developing, changed your mind and decide to get this game with me! I will not be pre-ordering it cus I already know im pro enough to get that gun easily in the first 2 days. I hope this changes someones mind in the future, the game really looks promising, and think of the co-op 4 player campaign.. WHAT?!

This game is pretty good (been playing the 360 beta). Basically they've improved upon everything CoD4 did. Unfortunately, my friends think the game is too similar to CoD4, so they're not getting it.2008-10-28 14:32:00

They say that like its a bad thing. The beta is indeed fun and the weapons are great. Also there's a 4 player co-op zombie mode where you have to defend against an endless wave of Nazi undead.		2008-10-28 21:35:00

The Garand is the American rifle... my dad has a collectors edition of it or something commemorating the Normandy invasion. The German rifle you may be thinking of is a bolt-action rifle, the Kar 98.

I was hoping to get a Mosin Nagant and a Kar 98 so we'd have 3 WWII rifles in the house (the Lee Einfield would be missing though, and there was definitely more than 4 rifles used in the war.)		2008-10-28 23:06:00

i really do not want to go back to WWII because there has been sooooooo many games on WWII that it is like there is nothing more to talk about or tell a story about, i mean we do not have to have a game from every single last soldier's view point on the battle field, we just need a few and we have already gone way over a few. So i am not looking forward to it and with COD4 i thought that the direction they were going was brilliant (first one of those games that i have bought in like 5 years) so no thanks i do not think i will be getting this one.

sorry about not wanting to come on with you it is just that the WWII thing bugs me

My friend's getting this, and I can't wait for him to bring it over for us to play.

Will this be goin on the PSN for a full game download? I like to DOWNLOAD my games from the PSN instead of buying them at the outrageously overprices Australian costs...

this game is better than COD 4 online... by a long shot... i was in beta on xbox 360 and it was the best shooter i have ever played!!!

Woo, atleast 1 page of users on this forum is going to buy! =) The Campaign mode looks like it has alot more levels, so for the people who enjoy story mode will enjoy this one, hopefully some of the charecters we love won't die in the end.. =( haha.

well if you liked COD 4 online then its kinda the same thing exactly. nothing changed online really except perks.

I've never played a WWII game because I was never interested. I normally don't like wargames at all, really. Played CoD4 a little bit but didn't like it enough to get it. Now, I played the CoD: WaW Beta and liked it a lot, sooo...

Yes, the Betas have ended because WaW are soon to be released, or is already released. I plan to get it maybe Thursday, football season is keeping me occupied.. sorry to all the people that added me only to see me inactive. I assure you I'll be active after I get this game =)2008-11-11 20:49:00

im not i played online beta and it was sick.

so i talked with my freind to school today and he made me feel really stupid....

all my freinds got the game from Best buy!!!!

im so stupid i smacked myself in the head.

Just popped Call of Duty 4 back in a couple nights ago and played for about two hours. Maybe there's a need to pick up World at War eventually, but Modern Warfare still satisfies my inner commando. 2008-11-14 13:15:00
