It was just launch day slow down. Lots of people were signing on today as it was officially launch today. Servers should be more stable within the coming week. **MUCHO EDITO: provided you were connected to online, as I also had this problem while online**

If you are signed into the LBP servers but playing single player or while in create mode, you will experience lag as well. From what I can tell, everytime you are sent an update on what levels your friends have completed the game lags a bit, sometimes more. I'd give this a couple days max. I suggest just logging out completely and play offline.

yea i realized last night that if i signed out of PSN the game run's perfect. Not a suprise that servers are screwed up, happens with every launch.

Yeah. This is bound to happen launch day. I presume they don't have the proper servers yet, but I'm sure they'll be sorted ASAP.

The servers are all tied together. If you connect in EU then you're connecting to the same network. Nothing is region locked here which is great. I'm glad I get to play levels made from all over the world.
