Trash It!
Archive: 1 post
For those of you who don't remember this classic game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5uhpz8-r04 (PS this video doesn't do justice to the game, but it's the only one I could find. They should have made a better demo! MP is where it's at for this game. The SP is also a lot more exciting, interesting and varied than this video would have you believe!) This was actually my first project in LBP1 beta, and I made a device that could launch you quite a distance (like the cartwheel jump), and I made a hammer that you could drag and cause to slam left and right to kill enemies. I even made a convincing bell for the end of the level. But I think I could do so much more in LBP2, creating a multiplayer race to the finish to rival that of the original Trash It. (Trash It had co-op too!) Especially since LBP2 has a new feature that was in Trash It - the ability for the camera to zoom out really far to follow all players at once. With sackbots also I could recreate the perfect controls (including picking up other people's hats and throwing them off the edge, refusing to crawl through a tunnel under your hat because you would get thrown off, trying to trick the other person into letting you past... good times ) So should I embark on this project? Who else loved Trash It? (It has seemed relatively unknown when I have brought it up before). | 2010-10-09 17:40:00 Author: thor Posts: 388 |
