The Simpsons - Season 22 - UK and US
Archive: 14 posts
In a shock move, season 22 of the Simpsons is running along side the US. Usually we get all the episodes about a century later, but this is a surprise. They are airing at 7:30 Thursday night on Sky 1 for UK. The 1st episode aired last Thursday and I thought it was pretty decent. I liked the songs a lot, but some of the jokes fell a bit flat. Overall, a good start. | 2010-10-09 16:11:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |

The Simpsons was way better in the earlier seasons, getting old now I think. | 2010-10-09 18:01:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
In what way? well they're starting to get a bit more random... really really random, in a non simpson way, idk it's just unexplainable | 2010-10-10 10:22:00 Author: >er. Posts: 785 |
well they're starting to get a bit more random... really really random, in a non simpson way, idk it's just unexplainable Love the simpsons with all my heart, but that (quote above) is the problem is with the newer eps. :/ I'll still watch em. Occasionally there's a nice episode. "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" I really enjoyed (not sure what season it was), that one also has some nice moments of Lisa being a kid. | 2010-10-10 10:54:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
From what I hear the episodes just get better from around season 10 and out. | 2010-10-10 11:30:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |
They have got a little bit... sarcastic, but as long as they still entertain me I'm happy. | 2010-10-10 19:58:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
In every Simpson episode there will be at least 1 line that has me laughing out loud, guaranteed. Even if Iv'e seen the episode many times before, they are that crammed full of jokes you are bound to forget a few. Liked the Flight of the Conchords episode ; "... the city's very gritty for an itty bitty pretty girl!" | 2010-10-15 07:56:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |

Even if Iv'e seen the episode many times before, they are that crammed full of jokes you are bound to forget a few. Liked the Flight of the Conchords episode ; "... the city's very gritty for an itty bitty pretty girl!" I loved them songs. I read people complaining about them, but I loved them. The newest episode over here was "Loan-a Lisa" and it couldn't have proved a point more clearly. The Simpsons has gone "modern" It kinda now relies on modern culture. It isn't the simpsons we're used to but it's still funny. They're starting to do really smart comedy elements. Most of the old episodes just were naturally funny, because it felt fresh. So it's nice to see some good ideas, that don't necessarily make me LOL but put a smile on my face. | 2010-10-15 21:57:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
Season 22, they're never gonna stop are they? Fine with me though, I love "The Simpsons", even if they don't have the same magic that they used to have, it's still a great show to watch. The opening seqence is always interesting too. | 2010-10-16 02:13:00 Author: X-FROGBOY-X Posts: 1800 |
