Blurred/Low Res Stickers
Archive: 4 posts
Hey everyone, I seem to be running into a weird problem, and more and more frequently. Stickers (normal size) I place are all blurry and low res. Even stickers I've placed previously get blurry too. It's annoying and frustrating and I was wondering if there was any known thing that causes the problem, and a fix if possible. I'm wondering if it's the use of really really huge gradient stickers elsewhere in the level. Would that do it? Thanks, Ryhas EDIT: Doesn't seem to be the gradients. Maybe the use of lots of stickers in the glitched background layers? | 2010-10-06 18:58:00 Author: Ryhas ![]() Posts: 179 |
Yes i know of this problem, it sometimes makes me go crazy, and ruins the level, its because the game engine cant handle a lot of stuff on the game at the same time, probably your thermo is to high or the object you are stickering is to complex (Its not the number of stickers actually, ive had a level with a high thermometer, but there wasn't too much stickers, and it still got them blurry) at least be glad that you can still place stickers, when you use too much of them the game cant display all at the same time. | 2010-10-06 19:37:00 Author: Ragnarok ![]() Posts: 898 |
Its a glitch that happens when you put waaay too many stickers together ar a few extremely enlarged ones nearby if I'm not mistaking. This probably blurs stickers on your costmes when in the level/ near-by the stickere area, no? Try putting a semi-complex, but that's still noticable-pic on your sacperson (Green checkered slin preffered) in a blank leve. Then look how it looks and go to that level where it looks all low-res according to you, and if the sticker looks diferent, then that's most likely it. Hope that helps! ![]() | 2010-10-06 19:45:00 Author: Silverleon ![]() Posts: 6707 |
Aha, found the culprit: two enormous gradients. Everything is clear and awesome now. Thanks for the help, guys. | 2010-10-06 20:08:00 Author: Ryhas ![]() Posts: 179 |
