The Quiet Ones

Archive: 50 posts

This isn't a level first of all. The ideas of this is ill be making Mini Spotlight on creators than are Underrated and deserve more such as, Dimo1138, RAF_ARCH, dohdohbird, Bloo_boy and many many more.

Ill come up with a new Episode or Chapter thing, every Month ( I said e before but it isnt enough, of course the creator being spotlighted will need feedback etc and so on, so its fair that i leave a space of 1 month between spotlight, to work things out Properly)

And ill post it on Recommendations, because im not only reviewing, the Creator or his/her levels, but recommending them and sharing with the LBPC community what makes that creator great and classified as Underrated.

Here's some details...

-These Underrated creators should have less than 1000 hearts <3 (with the exception of 1500 <3)
-There is no Rank to the list, maybe some creators are more Underrated than others, but there's no Ranking Order to the list I have
-The chapters each Month will be chosen by "Lottery Pick" (Randomly), to Avoid any Discrimination to any creators
-There will be NO discrimination in any way
-Of course there levels have to be Good, not Great or Perfect but Decent enough to say "Wow this is 4/5 stars"

Ill Post in on Recommendation every Month, there will be No pics of them or their lvls to avoid any problems, ***unless with their Permission and Authority then i will Upload pics***.
The Chapters/Episodes will be made as Profesionally as Possible no "loling or Xding" XD sorry anyway.

*UPDATE*, I came up with the idea to create a "Mini Team" of either 3 or 5 people, i am giving it my 100% to this project and to see this grow, but i cant do it alone, so any help is soooo much truly appreciated.

The Quiet ones, means that everywhere you go, the most suprising Talent you can find is in what you havent discovered such as..A rare gem that's hidden or a Shy Creator who hasn't been acknowledged yet.




This is why i made this little Project.


*NOTE!!!* this is NOT intented to be some sort of Competition to the Original Community or Creator Spotlight, the only thing im doing here is sharing with the LBPC Community. Sharing My Opinions and thoughts about a Creator etc...


Keep in mind if you have atleast 1500 or more hearts <3 as a Creator you arent Underrated. Or if you have crowns or something, (unless your crown is from a Costume Competition or something similar)

*UPDATE* I made Chapter 1 already, however i will Update it, I will try to talk to Dimo1138 himself and ask him if i can ask him some questions, as in a Mini Interview and Upload some pics from his Levels to show here on The Quiet Ones "Spotlight".

This is a nice idea and agreed on the creators you mentioned, but from what I gathered the site's spotlight covers people in a very wide range of heartedness. I've seen some community spotlights including some people's first levels that had less than a dozen plays beforehand.

Also are you talking about creator hearts or a tally of all hearts from the levels?

In any case, bringing more exposure where its deserved can't be a bad thing.		2010-10-06 20:16:00

This does sound very interesting And I do agree that there are a considerable amount of wonderful creators that go unrecognised.
I have a few questions though:
Why won't you be posting pics of thier levels (or at least of the level badges)?

Well...for example Ninjaferret, it would be a little selfish if i randomly posted a pic of your art without your permission see? so..your right i should include pics etc, but i need Permission to do so first etc..

And as Creator Activity well...im scracthing that, im not sure, i had in mind making a order of Most Underrated to least or maybe, Lottery Picking them. That way there will be no Discriminating anyone, because this Mini Spotlight is not being intended to who's better than who, because there all Epic, and they deserve soo much more.

Hmm, that's a quite nice idea, but i never meant to get more recognition, i only create for fun, I do actually believe that lbp overall community doesn't want very well made stuff, they just like shark/bomb survivals, that's why I think its not worth to try........, If i wanted recognition I would have chosen the easy way to make cheap levels and spam others accounts, but that's not my style, I like to be underground, just showing my creations to my close friends and those who actually show interest for it and are not some sort of hypocrites that just want you to help them and give them your most hard-time consuming creations.2010-10-06 21:38:00

please check my work out i think i only have something just above 100 hearts, and i work extremely hard on the look of the levels i make.

If I deleted my 3 old levels, and get my new one up, I'm pretty sure I could be in this category, because then I'd have only quality levels up! About 24 creator <3's the last time I checked... :/

It feels wrong, suggesting myself though...

really great idea!! i've always wanted to join in and start making levels to share, but i've often felt way too inferior to do so. the level showcase area feels like an "elites only" place.. Update guys, I said an Episode every 2 weeks, its possible but i know some of you guys might not have the time etc, so i changed it to 1 month, theres more time to plan things more carefully and more comfortable, of course making a video isnt a Cake Walk lol, so i hope you understand, I really wanted to make it every 2 weeks but well yeah, it can be a little too tight, and we all have stuff we have to do in Our Personal Lives etc, so i hope you guys understand, any new updates ill let everyone know.

yea sorry my explaining wasn't too clear i guess , i realise everything about the spotlights are perfect. also don't see this as a competition.. i was jus trying to sey that i'm greatful that u made this project and that it's a nice stepping stone to help some creators start sharing their work here, instead of the overwhelming feeling of having to jump straight onto the 'big stage' a.k.a level showcase

This idea is incredible and very certain, there are many more creators who deserve this opportunity to be considered to be "CREATORS-SPOTLIGH" nevertheless not always there meets recognized this labor that there are behind some very good creators.

Hmm! Its very nice I have been reccomended! Would this be a creator spotlight, or a community spotlight sort of thing? Because Id be useless for an interview, as Ive only had 1 good level published since CrazyCanyons. Have you published one yet? From what I understand you have!

good news tho, me and a good friend will be doing somthing simular, where we name 10 underplayed levels, give a little review and a link to a youtube page where you can see the level being played
