Continuing Outrage in the Outback!

Archive: 6 posts

Here are my current plans for the next level for the Outrage in the Outback! series.

Outrage in the Outback : Preparation

The next level will be going around the villages that cheify has secretly employed to grow limes for what he is calling " A weapon of fruity proportions", you will be helping the villages grow these limes, since growing them can take a long time, and isn't very easy in the dry lands of the outback. Once all the ammo..... err food is ready, you will go back and help cheify collect all the parts he needs for his weapon, and help him build it, ready to head the final assault on the Space Corps.

Outrage in the outback: Intervention

The third level will be attacking the Space Corps themselves, but that is still in the early planning stages.

So am I, here is the first concept idea I have had, which I am already putting into the level.

The first village is one of 3 growing limes for cheify, and their problem is that the caretaker who operates the manual clock has taken a weeks sick leave due to carpal tunnel. The lime trees have all stopped growing, since, because the clock has stopped working for the last week of the harvest, time iself in the local area has come to a stop! The first task is to bring the clock up to time by moving the right keys into place, using a numeric counting system, shown below.

The clock as you can see is operated by adding the numbers available, sincve any number on the clock can be made by adding a combination of 1,2,4,8,16 and 32. as you can see in my calculation test. To make the time 15:49, you would activate switches for 8+4+2+1 on the mechanism for the hour hand, and to make 49 you would activate switches 32+16+1 on the minute hand (there will be two separate towers for each hand). Once the clock is back to time, all the time that happened in the last week will happen in a matter of seconds, and the first lime harvests will be ready, and you can move onto the next village to help them.

Unforunately so, I would love to get this out as fast as possible, but I really don't want to rush this either, I'm not setting myself a release date target, which is why I thought I would do this to keep people who are interested up to date
