Splapp art (NO. I R NO DO NO REQUESTS NO MORE)

Hello sackfolk!

Here's some LitteBigPlanet 2 related art I did. Basically, there was a competition to make a flying machine in the LBP2 beta forums. So I created this flying, heartbroken, space-monster called 'Lovesick' that vomits hearts:

Anyway, I liked the idea of the character so much, that I did some artwork of what she'd look like if she were an actual creature and not just made of cardboard and wires:

Aw man! I've missed it...

I really hope you aren't too full (been there before), but if you aren't, I'd like die if you drew my sackperson, I have been such a big fan of yours for a long time (forgo to watch you on dA, though cough cough)...Totally understand if you're way too full on requests right now. Her costume isn't too accurate in-game, so here's my rendition of her instead;

Random info so you don't get the personalities/details wrong: they look exactly like eachother only that they're inverted,
Wears: cape, cap, mini sack boy with same colour as the big sack, inverted zipper (black body=white zipper), and has white/black sharp lion tooth and a white/black tounge.
Other: yes, the theme is darkness, for both of em, they're both (story-like) demons from 'the other dimension' or something... they hate eachother, are twins, whatever that has to do with a simple pic..?

I love how my sig's colors look and it would be cool if you could incorporate it into it as well, but you know, you have your way and whatnot.By the way, maybe you should have a waiting list or something because we here at LBPC get crazy with requests whenever someone says they take them.:eek: It would make it easier on you and maybe you could even just have requests closed until you get earlier ones done, so you don't have a huge o'le list. I saw how TheZimInvader got swamped with requests and it was pretty harsh, just giving some advice to avoid stress. Hopefully my sack get's doodled up sometime! Wow, Lovesick looks fantastic!

All this reminds me a lot of Christmas (a giant space-monster throwing up on people, what could be more Christmas-ish ? ) , probably because of the colors you chose (God bless you, this is wonderful!), the starry sky and the bonnet on the head of your Sackboy.

No, no, I wasn't directing this at anyone here in specific. At least you use all of the drawings you get in your signature or avatar or somewhere somehow. No one is kissing up to him, his artwork is really nice so I see no reason not to send some compliments. And with that many requests I think he needs as much motivation as he can get, the compliments help I believe. For someone who "hates" to be rude you sure have a lot to complain about...oh and for your information youre not a mind reader so stop assuming people who are actually being nice are kissing up because thats far from the truth (people will still compliment his art even after he finishes their request)

Also getting artwork for your "site" still doesnt justify the fact that you plague the art forums with requests just like me and so many others (i request because i like art and having forum avatars and signatures....sue me)

That looks really good, the only thing I can see that I don't like is that creature is in the center of the picture which makes you look only there, if it was a big angled or a little to the side you would be showing more of the background, which makes the picture look fuller. Well, this is actually a good story...

Back when zimfirst started the requests, a lot of us who were waiting for art were getting a little....edgy, and (in my oppinion) It all started with a user named Krimzon,
.He had put in a request for a drawing, when the first post clearly stated that no one was to request anything!

Sooooo..... me, and a few other members went off on him, and it just started several arguments, then it just got worse from there, next thing i knoew, the thread was LOCKED.....

So, the moral of this story is, always brush after every meal....
