I desperately want to buy Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night from the Playstation Store Unfortunately the game is only available in the US store. (and Japanese) I know I can buy from Amazon.com a playstation card, redeem the code and buy it. But will the game (supposedly a NTSC one) work on a EU console? Thanks in advance.

I've got a JP PSN account, and downloaded a bunch of demos and a few of the free games there and they work fine in all my accounts, so it SHOULD work m8.

Yeah, I also have one JP, besides the US one, but my gripe is that SOTN is a PSOne game

I have a Japanese TV and bought Vagrant Story from the EU store. Unfortunately I cannot play it on my PS3, only my PSP. A message comes up saying the video output setting is not supported. I imagine you might have the same problem with SoTN.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for confirmation. I can't even play Chrono Cross that I bought NTSC, and could play on a modded PSOne. If there's a PSN game I really want is SOTN, and buying original, vintage I should say... is mental. I have Chronicles on PSP, but have an avversion to play games on that system, in fact I have NOT even unlocked SOTN...
