Just to get started im ganna say that the song thing was BS. I am not a religious person and don't really care about religion in general. HOWEVER! When i played the skulldozer level i almost flipped my sh*t when i saw THE MOTHER OF CHRIST in the background of a level! If you take out something from one religion why could they keep someothing from another one? It's BS. I say they recall the game again and take it out! (not really) but seriously! WTF?!

I agree, all religions should be treated as equals.. to other cults. >_> But the Wedding is very Spanish themed, and Christianity is a big part of the Spanish heritage. I guess we'll just have to deal with it?

LittleBigPlanet is not about religion. I'm getting very tired of seeing threads still harping on about the trivial religious reasons for the recall/delay. I'm as p***ed off about it as anyone else (more so, perhaps, as I'm in the UK and won't get my copy for another 8 days yet) but it's time we all moved on and stopped snarking about being offended by this or that.

It only shows Mary because it is a Graveyard Scene where there are loads of statues of mary and angels etc

Hm, yeah that IS weird. Course, no one complained about that before, and I guess they didn't think it would spark a lawsuit or something. And they thought the other problem would spark a lawsuit. They should have just left it the way they had it from the beginning. If someone didnt like the song they just should'nt buy the game. Thats there problem; it shouldn't be everyone elses.grrgrr

It's probably because it offended the Muslim community because the Quotes were set to music, which i think is what is considered offensive to them. But if it is just a picture on the wall of The Mother Of Christ then i don't think it is considered offensive the Christians. I understand what your saying about equality though and i also am not religious in the slightest but I guess different things offend different religions and people

I dont want the game delayed but its BS... like i said before. im not religious but it ****** me off that because the muslims complain they get their way, when the VIRGIN MARY is in the game...

There's a difference. And yeah, I noticed it. Not very concerned. It's just keeping with the theme of the levels. Although I do have to say that so far, that section has been my least favorite of the sections. The music was grating, and the other sounds were just annoying. The platforming itself was pretty good, but in some sections more frustrating than anything.
