-Official- Sackboy costume thread

I thought it would be cool to create a thread where everyone could showcase their personalized sackboys and sackgirls so, here it is!

My first costume within LBP is a remake of the one I did in the beta. I will be working on more as I continue playing

Basically, I got a little sticker crazy. The eyes are a splotted paint sticker. The mouth paint is actually 'red tape'. The hair is green rope which actually sways with the non-functional wind. The tux is a black tuxedo with a purple sticker pasted on it for the color.

I've since thrown Kratos swords on his back but, that's hardly worth posting :-p		2008-10-28 16:22:00

Right now I'm using the ushanka (called the "fur hat") and the "long grey coat" with the "white knit" material. It's simple, but I love it to bits and pieces. I didn't post a picture because I don't have a camera, and you can probably re-create the costume pretty easily.

Now, I'm thinking of making another costume for Halloween... like my friend did... =P		2008-10-28 16:26:00

Always wondered. Do you get the roman cape early in the game? It's a must-have for me, as I really like seeing capes that aren't stuck in one place and kinda move with the wind or as you walk (love the Guild Wars capes). If you can tell me that, I'd really appreciate it.		2008-10-31 16:21:00

well my costumes are mainly putting on regular sackboy and putting stickers on him to make him colerful

my favorite right now is a sackboy with the dragon head and red kimono.

I was bored so I made the Flash as a sackboy. Just a simple plan sackboy decked out in red stickers and yellow box's turned into lighting bolts on the side of his head near his eyes.

I'm using a plain sackboy a roman cape and one of those decoration glasses as big as possible, really looks cool. I prefer using the orange material with the haloween hat on multiplayer - you can see yourself alot easier =D2008-11-11 19:21:00

i seen one guy making a bunch of sackboys on my friends list...his name is like murph or something alone those lines....he has batman, harry and lloyd from dumb and dumber, papa smurf, smurfette, and just a normal smurf, osama bin laden, and so on...its pretty amazing what some people can do.2008-11-13 15:25:00

Thanks guys Yea the poseidon is one of my favorite favorites It actually has barnacles on the back of its head! I'll try to take a pic while my sackboy's busy at the pod's controles :arg:

Sure, anything i post here is for anyone who likes to use. I only wear my Red SackBoy most of the time anyway so might as well have others using the costumes I've come up with

Do you know how to make it, if not just ask I used the Snake Head sticker for the colouring, made it really big then splached it on each part and the visor is yellowish thanks to a few little dark yellow Birdy stickers. 		2008-11-27 18:45:00

No, I unfortunately do not.

I had a little trouble making my own since it was hard to paint the sides since my character always faced forward or sometimes backward.

If it's not much trouble, could you tell me how? If you don't want to, that's okay, too.

I believe its possible to see costumes on your computer by saving your gamesave on a portable storage device such as an SD card or a Portable Flash Drive. I have no knowledge of what folder it will be in, but it ends up looking like a small image with the LBP Logo and Graph Paper around it, like in this post: [Click Here] (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=79215&postcount=48) . You have to upload them in LBP. Hit square on a sticker in the pop-it and you will see some options. Second one down is the upload one with a little planet symbol next to it. And there you go! It's instant too, I was in sackbook, while LBP was on, took a pic, uploaded it, refreshed my page in Sackbook and it was already visible :hero:		2008-12-05 23:08:00

Sure of course. I wonder if you use a sticker the other guy doesn't have, does the other guy loose that part of the costume once he saves it?
