Hey, just wondering if anyone from Europe/UK has gotten a copy from a store yet. Or have the stores not received their shipments of LBP yet? Cheers

There is a private store, and the owner sells imports from the US. He also has LBP-Copys over, but he wants 80? (that's around 100$) for a copy.. and well, I write 3 important test between the 3th and 7th November.. so I think it's better if I don't spend too much time for LBP then. And also, I think I will party hard on the Friday, when the testsa re finished I have my LBP

You sure this was the EU version of the game, or are you talking bout the US version? Anyway, which store are you talking about? I received a few brochures today. One was from a store called Dixons, which have a full page about LBP, including price and information. Thought there is nothing about a release date, so that makes you think they are selling the game right now. Yesterday(before I got the brochure) I called them and they said they'd be expecting the game Saturday. Another brochure, from a store called Bart Smit. Was giving out money-off coupons for the LBP + PS3 Console bundle. The confusing part here, is that the coupon is valid from the 29th of October till he 2nd of November. Strange isn't it? Since the game should start shipping in the week of the 3rd. Probally in both cases, the stores forgot to edit the brochures after the delay. Btw. Sorry for the double post, but this was like a whole new message, and if I didn't double post, the thread would be on the second page almost.

Dunno mate. I think there arn't that much copies being send to retailers within the first weeks, mainly because they needed to reburn all original copies. Next to that, amazon isn't a gameshop of itself, I think they kind of have a green light here when it comes to shipments and preorders.

The problem is that you need different credit cards which will work on US Store. I believe not all DLC will be free for LBP. I had the chance to purchase a LBP US copy even before the US released the game. One of the early copies it was, didn't do it at the end because I doubted about the DLC.

It is easy enough to buy PSN cards for the US store from EBay or I get mates in the states to buy them for me and then email me the code, that way you can add to your account without having to use a credit card. The Us PSN store will only accept US credit cards they used to accept Entropay cards which is a virtual credit card but they will no longer accept them for new US accounts so just use a PSN card. My cousin also ordered it from the same place and it works on his Full HD TV... Strange

So today I wen't to the stores again. Free recordshop - Didn't knew anything about the game. XD Media Market - Had the game in stock, wouldn't sell it until Monday. Dixons - Will get shipment Monday and sell it right away. Intertoys - Had the LBP + PS3 Bundle, selling it. Didn't had the game itself, expecting to get a shipment Monday and will sell it then. Futurezone - Will be selling Monday Bart Smit - Will be selling Thursday (BAH)
