A pixel Sackboy! -I dont take requests, but leave your sack pic and I may convert it

Well, after i placed this in another thread that is apparently sinking, i thought it would be a good idea to post it here:

I just got a sackboy picture from the internet, reduced it size and then did the rest, all in like 2 minutes, and in paint!,

This is the original size, looks like an icon!

If you want to request a sack to be pixelized, there is only 1, ONE rule, ask for it politely, and with politely I mean to use the word "please", that's it, only that, I don't care whatever you do with it, if you just dump it on your computer as most people do or never respond back, just ask for it politely ok?		2010-10-01 04:35:00

First i use paint and paint all the background white leaving only sackboy's silhouette, then reduce the image a lot, onto a considerable size, next you add a black border (you must know how to do this otherwise you will screw it up ) then you just use common pallete colors or a basic color from the sack, like the green on your jacket and take it using the pipet function in paint, then you simplify it!		2010-10-01 18:49:00

yeah im doin requests aswell (yey)
so if you got a request ive got a rule
if you want a request make sure the backround on you pic is white (unless your sackboy/request is white)
its just makes it easier and makes the request takes less time
em thats it..... so yeah....

EDIT: done i have to admit this was the hardest because it was hard to tell the diffrence between the sackboy and the border
and also the sackboy was in a flying position so that was hard anyways here it is

Alright, got mine, and it looks awesome! I have an idea, but I don't know how to do it. Do you know how to do GIFs? 'Cause if you do, I made this...

...but I want the sackboy to animate. I have the three frames of animation (The animation goes "Left frame, middle frame, right frame, middle frame, loop"), I have the backround (Made from some custom Super Mario Bros. Tiles), and I have a reference as to where I want the looping sackboy to be, I just need it to animate. If you know how to make GIFs, could you do this? Credit in sig if you'd like, I'm sure of.

EDIT: Just realized, I'd need the water to loop too. Hold on, I'mma get the sprites for that seperate so you don't have to take the time to scrape of the water tiles yourself and figure out how they animate.

EDIT2: Here we go, water animates "Top frame, middle frame, bottom frame, loop", or at least that's how I think it loops.

Hm, that actually looks kinda good! Wish I had actually animated the head in the frames and made the hand wave more noticable though, thanks a bundle! If I edit my sackboy a bit so his head animates better would you mind making the GIF one more time? Sorry to bother >.<

yeah, that picture is actually what gave me the idea, i ama part of the community where that was originally posted, and i asked the person who made it if i could do a sprite sheet based on that demake, he said de didn't mind so i did. and, viola! so... yeah. i you know any good pixel artisits here on lbpc, i could use thier help. i need to make at least two more running poses for sackboy, i animated the sackboy for my profile picture, and it looks like he's dancing. I am a bit of a tech head, and i know the amount of time, dedication, and pure work it takes to make a game ( even an 8-bit computer game ) he would have to make sprites ( the different frames for movement ) for each cahracter, for each action, and then sprites for the background, the environment, and every other thing in the game, and then put it all together, PLUS he would have to program it. it isn't an easy task. i don't think it is quite practical. though, i do agree, that that would be quite awesome. I can't wait to see the pixelized versions of my sack(s)! i hope they look good, because i might include it in my next signature!2010-11-03 23:54:00

yeah well, I try to keep it underground >__> so I don't get uber-spammed with tons of people wanting their stuff done, and somehow it worked, anyway, I'm pretty busy this days with the end of the semester coming and all those stupid final projects so I don't have time to please all people here : (and can't even please myself, I do like to make this sacks and place em on my sig as some sort of collection keeping one by user)
