Ok, so I know that you receive a rare prize crown if you win a contest, but what are the other ways? My friend said he thought that if your level gets over a certain amount of plays you get one, but I'm not sure of the exact ways to get one. Also, does anyone know if Mm will still give out Rare Prize Crowns in LBP 1, when LBP 2 comes out, because I'm trying sooo hard to get one and I'm not going to get LBP 2. Thanks:star:

In these cases, rules are fairly straightforward, and people spend a lot of their time creating anyway MM also tends to give out crowns to people who demonstrate creativity or a real love of lbp. For instance, Morgana25 was crowned due to an overwhelming cry from the community, and Comphermc, Mrsupercomputer, Ccubage, RTM223 and CC got crowns for putting together the logic pack. XkappaX got her crown via her amusing Fox Kitsune animation, the members of LittleBigPodcast got one for their efforts, and I believe someone got a crown for making a comic about sackboy. The idea that a certain number of plays will get you a crown is no more than an urban legend. If plays were indeed a standard, a lot of the cool pages spammers would be royalty... and I don't think MM is really favorable of that. But honestly, in the end its just a shiny hat If you do end up getting crowned, I think you'll find that the real joy comes from giving back to the community, and putting a smile on many a happy gadders face. I think Jona was referring to your post about not wanting LBP2 because there will be better creators on it/more competition. Yeah, I'd check out xkappax's animation. It's really funny and gives you an idea of what lengths you have to go to to get a crown.

I would say, if your a big enough fan of LBP, then you will get a crown (well, if they still do give them out) Just enter contests, it does not matter if you lose, you wont actualy lose anything. If you keep trying contests you will get used to them. Like working in a time limet (witch i say is VERY hard!) working with a theme, space or anything elce. Then, you will win. But if your not in any contests, try to spend as much time as you can in create mode. To tell you the truth, i want one just as much as the next guy, you know, if its not RTM or someone that already has a crown. So Good luck on your quest! EDIT: well, rember that if it does not say that the winner will get a crown, the winner wont. Only site contests/and MM staff would be able to hand out crowns.

I'm not sure Mm will want to give you one if you're not buying LBP2 Nah, just kidding, but I too was wondering if they'll give out stuff to LBP1. I think they will for a bit, maybe if something really outstanding like xhappax's video but you only have LBP1, you'd get one, but after a couple of months or so stop and focus on LBP2.

Also, it gets a lot easier to create things in LBP2, and you may find making mini-games, composing music or creating films is more your style than creating normal levels! Of course, we respect your decision, but you may find temptation could get the better of you. It lead me to preorder LBP2, and I always wait until games hit ebay at a lower price usually!!
