Tower Defense Help

So im planning on eventually making a tower defense game once LBP2 comes out. Im trying to figure out how i can make the creation of towers only in certain areas, but i cant come up with a way. Help!

In LBP 1 we could make one, it would just most likely be really buggy and full of glitches, in LBP2 it would be much more precise.2010-10-02 13:37:00

You know that you can always ask me these sort of things. There's a whole group for this kind of stuff.

Anyways, I'm not going to details, but you can build a grid (involves a piece of logic I like to call snap mover) for the cursor to move on (so the cursor moves only a certain amount each time).
Then for the grid's squares, you can create a piece of logic (using the electronics and collision switches) that will check where the cursor is and if you can do something in that square.
Then when you click a button, the cursor will emit a tag that will activate an emitter in the square emitting a tower of some kind and takes away some points (points work as resources).

Rather easy and I've seen a bunch of these TD games that have been built in a day or two and are quite awesome.
