Metal Gear Solid 5! Sons of the Peacewalker Patriotsdangerlove
Hey dudes I tried to create a real tactical espionage adventure with lots of variety in this level and would love some feedback (however critical!). There are patrolling guards you have to sneak past by hiding behind bushes, in gaps in the walls and even shooting out the lights!! I also included a 'Silent Scope' sniper style section where you must help Otacon escape and to top it off there's jumping Gekkos, a laser puzzle and a showdown with Liquid!!
Some stuff to look out for....
Test the guards! ie. if you run in front of him you will set off his alarm but you can sneak behind his back, hide behind bushes or in trees over his head and hide in gaps in the wall and he won't catch you! You also get to use the famous cardboard box to sneak past a section!

Shooting weapon boxes in the sniper section will earn you bonus points at the end of the level.

When you complete the laser puzzle go back and pull the first mirror out of place. The rest of the path will be broken too.

Visually the level isn't complete yet (especially the indoor sections) but any comments on the level are greatly appreciated!

Inventive storyline and play-style
Sniping was fun
Gekko fight was challenging and enjoyable

Not much to say. Life point in locker room is easy missed.

Thanks for the comments! The foibles mentioned here and on the level itself have been fixed so its just a matter of making the indoor section look a bit more impressive but an overheating thermometer keeps getting in my way!! Looking forward to checking out your levels too and I'll leave a reply on your threads asap 2010-10-02 20:06:00

Hey Dangerlove thanks for playing my SSBB- Battleship Harlberd Interior level heres my feedback:

Positives:
+Gameplay went very smooth
+Visuals looked great
+Patrol Guards were well made
+Liked the box with the proximity inside

Negatives
-When you pass the box part and theres an area which you have to place an ( ! ) sticker I placed it and nothing happened and I played random stickers and nothing happen am I missing something? so the floor wouldnt open and due to that I couldn't finish the level which im upset because sounds pretty good

Sugguestions:
-Might want to block off the back layer when you reach the box area because you can get out the box and run in the back layer to avoid being shot at, so its kind of a easy way through then the box.

Overall it was very good up till the point I got stuck at..:star::star::star::star: after I rated it a 4 star I really which I could take it back and give you a 5 star for the level im sorry for that but keep up the good work i might go back and replay it again to see the rest of the level

To Sabre:
I honestly don't know how that sticker switch didn't work!?? I ran through it a couple of times there and it was fine... You get the sticker in the vent before the cardboard box section and its in your popit under Community Stickers-Trigger Switches. Blocking off that back layer would be a good idea though. Thanks for your reply and try it again if you have time I think all the best parts are after that section!!

If that happens to anyone else please tell! I did hear there's an option somewhere where you change something so sackboy won't collect any community objects or stickers but this still shouldn't apply to trigger switches. Thanks for playing anyway though

Really cool stuff. I loved the part where you use the crosshair to help protect your Otacon. Really funny animations. Unfortunetly, there were some cosmetic problems that made the level look kinda unpolished. It could just use some more detail. Look around for those big empty spots and put stickers or decorate it with a flat plane material. The Gecko part was unclear at first but it was still pretty cool.

Overall Score:

Nice level! The intro was a little bit hard to navigate and I felt like some of the gamely could have been tweaked, but it wasn't too bad. This seems like one of thoses levels that got better and better as it went on!

I loved the sniper part. Really well made and unique! Plus the fist fight at the end was genuis.

Overall I gave
:star::star::star::star: (I thought it was a great level. Needs a little bit of work on the intro.) and hearted it. <3

Good job!
