SERIOUSLY? The wait on NA Beta

| :colossus: :colossus: Seriously, I want to know what is taking so long for the LBP2 Beta for North America. Firstly, why on earth would there be a delay in the first place. Secondly its been how many weeks since the EVERYWHERE ELSE Beta!? I just made this thread because I am seriously PO'd about how long this is taking and wondering who else feels the same. | I mean, it's a bit fair to the UK, they usually get things about two months after everyone else, with a higher price. But still, this is too long a wait. | Isn't it all so obvious? You see, Sony is holding back the codes knowing people will become more and more anxious. As time passes people begin to lose self control, and start rioting. Soon the entire world is covered in riots of people wanting codes. (Don't ask why it's the whole world.) Then, from the fire appears the heroes; Sony. The ones who hold the key to salvation. And so, Sony releases the codes throughout the world (AKA North America) and everyone is happy and the world is saved. For saving the world, Sony is given the honorary medal of 'Awesome', and a key to the world. Thus begins stage two of their evil plan of world domination. (The plan that MM is in on.) | Honestly, I really thought the NA codes would go out on September 14th. Well, actually, I thought they'd come at the same time as the rest of the codes. It's a bit odd, really, to have so many people waiting for something for so long. One week was pretty bad, I thought, but it's just painful now. Yes.. when there is a new update just like in regular LBP, everyone gets to download the new version or patch. The NA folks just get to start off with a less buggy version. I think that was the real issue. Possibly it was just so bad, that more folks online with it would have just brought down the servers as well as be more annoying than good for anyone. Kinda painful we have to wait, but for me it has worked out as I wouldn't have had any time had we gotten it when EU did. ...obviously that doesn't help anyone else and so sorry for the frustrations. What if this ``North American LittleBigPlanet 2 Beta Test`` was just part of a large conspiracy as we susspected?! What about LBP1? Was LBP created as a clever way to get unsuspecting creative minds to pump out pure, creative ideas, which will be used to enhance desperate paying governments? Was the past 2 YEARS a LIE?! | Well last week I was really annoyed that they aren't send NA invites out yet but this week I haven't cared much because I probably wont get in and I have homework :S Yes we're all frustrated... well all of us in NA anyway... but complaining about it doesn't do us any good. | They people that are for sure going to be in the beta are complaining?!?!?!?!?! Yeah. I was livid the first time I saw it (here they're getting to play lbp2 early for free and they're complaining). After the past couple weeks of waiting I've come to sympathize with them a bit more, but I still get annoyed by their constant whining. It will be here in a week, speculated on Wednesday. What are you basing that on? We were all told the 14th and that was a bust. Unless you can verify it with something directly from Mm, it's best not to say: you'll just get people's hopes up and then they'll all be frustrated when it doesn't come out. | Pure speculation, but what if the NA Beta delay and the game delay... are related? The delay announcement came out the 23rd, and the beta codes were scheduled to go out the 14th. I have a good feeling that Mm was pretty sure by the 14th that they were going to have to delay it. So, what if they're holding back they NA beta keys in order to fulfill this: "On the upside, we are going to find a way to give more of you a taste of LBP2 prior to launch, so stay tuned." Maybe they're trying to get a larger group of people into this beta, or, even better, organize an open beta? Just a thought, and a lot of wishful thinking. Do something else that will take your mind off it until Sony, in all their benevolence, decide to bestow codes on your region. It's the only thing you can do to make the wait more bearable. O.o That is NOT what the beta is for. It's not for having some super happy time. Sure, you have a good time getting to play something that is unreleased, but that is your payment. Your job, is to find bugs and/or otherwise help them improve the game. As for myself, I think it's just sad on sony's part to split the community for 6? Weeks. That's totally against what MM wants, and since half of this community is from either regeion it's rather dissapoining of them. | Not giving people a beta because its buggy is like not giving someone an apple because its juicy. Bugs are part of the beta. Testers are suppose to find these bugs, and maybe even suggest how to fix them.
