Creature Noise

when you craete a creature with the eyes and give it a brain it comes to life all fun and stuff? well it ruins it with its own noise it makes when it begins to follow you such as whern you make one that follows you it will make a noise i cant really define the sound but you guys will know its anoyying and ruins the level or creature your making, have an option to turn that NOISE OFF!2010-09-28 20:57:00

Theres also that winding sound when they move around. Ive seen a few creators hide it quite well, but I cant find out how they did it! (in LBP1)
I really dont mind it though, without some of those sounds, the creatures would loose some of that "home made" look and feel.

I'm under the impression that all those extraneous noises can already be turned off in LBP2.



I don't know what emotion this gas mask smiley is supposed to suggest, but I'm adding it 'cause it's cool looking.

I hope they can be turned off in LBP2
they get annoying, I have a part in a LBP1 level I haven't published yet where on a long platform you are ambushed by an enemy, which then when you kill drops another .etc , the only problem is, there's like 15 (I think) of them, and they're all hidden up off screen, and they all make the weird garbled noise when you enter their follow radius (it's big enough to include the floor below), which has to be the size it is, and infact is still too small D:

I've tried making so many monsters but the cute little noise just ruins the mood . Maybe you can change it as well as turn it off?

Anyone know if you can also make them go as fast as you (incase I don't want to use a sackbot) or attach the brain to a motorised wheel and have it choose the direction base on where you are.

Or maybe followers will just replace it.

I love that sound!

Just made one in the beta, I don't see an option to turn it off.
They can be vulnerable to hazards though, plus have the same "on death" visual options, the same as the destroyer tweaker. (fall apart/dissolve/shrink/explode/etc)

But yeah, I think you'll need followers/other gadgets to make it act exactly how you want.
