OK, when you trigger a movie camera, just trigger a magic mouth (set to subtitle) as well. The movie camera view takes precedence but you still get the mouth text. Thats the way I've got round it anyhow. Shame there isn't text space with the movie camera, seems an obvious option.2010-09-28 16:24:00

@julesyjules thats actually good that you don't have text in camera, since magic mouth have that function it allows to control texting and camera view in separate way2010-09-28 16:29:00

Yeh, you can use the timer/sequencer to completely control the timings of the text seperately within the framework of cameras you've set-up, thats good. But i still think making things as simple as possible doesn't hurt either.; )2010-09-28 16:36:00

I'll take this.

Yes, they will reappear and actually were NOT supposed to be removed with the patch... something borked.

Hey beta people, I am sure this is covered in one of the pages in this huge beta discussion but I do not remember seeing it, so sorry if it is a redundant question. I was wondering with the new movers are pistons obsolete now. The charm of almost real world engineering was really cool. How does creating in LBP2 "feel"? I am 100% positive I will love LBP2, but have a feeling I will miss and return to LBP for that charm every now and then. Of course Im completely in the dark sooo...2010-10-14 14:56:00

I wouldn't say pistons are obsolete as the movers only move thing in on direction and you'd need timers to get something to go back and forth. Pistons are still more useful for things you want control direction and to stop once it reaches the max distance (Movers have no limit on this)

I though you talking about followers, they can change direction and stop when reaching target

But don't worry, pistons are still good, as a decorative mover and it's easy to make sinusoid movement with them
