Scrolling camera ><

In LBP2 during levels, I still see the camera doing its crappy scrolling whenever you die and respawn, or when you end the level with an end switch.

This is really offputting. Why does it do this and not fade or cut to the scoreboard? In all the levels I have seen where you control a sackbot rather than sackboy, or when you are transported to the scoreboard at the end, the camera scrolls and you can't choose the transition.

Can you get around this using cutscene cameras? Have people just not bothered? It looks tacky. Always did in LBP1 and I thought this was one of the things that would be fixed.

Update: It seems as though this has been fixed; can someone confirm?

Can I confirm if this has been fixed? Recent videos show that the camera fades instead of pans; I want to know if this is a workaround or a feature:

cut setting = instant. so instant that duplicate rooms with duplicate, wall-to-wall camera radi makes you think you're going in circles in a room you can't leave. i've been using it to try and simulate screen/room transitions ala Out of this World, Flashback, and Oddworld2010-12-23 18:04:00
