Create: Background Issue

Howdy all you fine LBP folk  I just started creating my first level, and I am having a small issue which hopefully one of you can help me rectify. I don't want to use any of the themes for a background so I selected blank theme thinking a could color the background and floor, but I can't figure out how to do it if it can be done. I could use one of the 3 planes and make that my background, but then I would be hamstringing myself going down to only 2 planes. Anyone able to give me a quick step by step on how to design my own background themes that won't interfere with the 3 playing planes? | I'm not sure if this is right because I haven't played the game yet but, I think you could choose a wafer thin let's say... cardboard piece, it would be really thin so you could put it on the furthest layer, I don't think it would interfere with the 3 layers as well. | Hi Whaaaaale, Yeah I actually just worked out how to change the depth of an object by watching a tutorial. You press L1, L2 to move an object from plane to plane and then the R1 and R2 change the thickness of that object in that particular plane.
