I was wondering this.. I was watching some of the uploaded levels on Chimpansees YouTube channel, and they all had this code which said: ''Scan with your PS-eye to go to the good stuff''... if you scan this, were does this take you?

If your on LBP2/beta, it instantly take you directly to the level. I should also mention, they are called QR codes... Like barcodes, but QR codes can hold much more data.

Or can you for example print these codes or something/ xD The idea is, say chimp's videos, or on LBPodcast or something, when it shows up on screen, you can then scan it to instantly go to the level. I believe the QR codes are generated on LBP.me

Ah so i have to have the eye cam close to my PC then xD think of it this way: now you can make some awesome looking QR code cards and stack em in your pocket or something and whenever you wanna play a certain level pull out the card in front of your PS eye THE FUTURE!!!!!!

Those QR codes probably contains LBP.me URL, so you can use it not only in LBP, but mobile applications too! QR Code is actually text coded in to computer friendly graphical code, there apps for mobiles to read tham, so if someone has it you can check them on

It takes me about 5 seconds to type a level's name into the search engine. Probably about 30 seconds to find my EyeCam among the mess I live in, then to plug it in and point it at the screen, I know which method I'll be using.

Probably about 30 seconds to find my EyeCam among the mess I live in, then to plug it in and point it at the screen, I know which method I'll be using. i think its just something neat to do for the game...and it could be a *hearted card stack* for whenever you wanna play a good level but it got unhearted by the 100 heart limit (idk if its less or more thats just my estimate) but yeah its pretty neat...makes the game feel more innovative and futuristic imo

You might want to take this ^^* EDIT: Oh i just found out i could download a reader for my mobile phone ;P gonne try if it works for lbp codes. SECOND EDIT: My mobile recognizes the codes on the website from which is downloaded the app, but it doesn't recognize the LBP QR codes =(

I know there's an iPhone app that can scan QR codes and put the names in a database. Unless LBP.me has its own form of that that links to your qeue.

i tried it on the codes in the youtube videos by chimpanzee...but it took me to the denied LBP.me site...which sucks cuz i wanted to see that flow level and how it'd look on my iphone would be awesome if Mm made a LBP.me IPHONE App...id buy that in a heart beat

I like the Business Card idea. Say you want to share your level with friends, why not print it a few times and give it to them? More fun than simply telling them your levels name!

I've seen a video of it happening, when the person playing held the code upto the PSeye(or eyetoy?), in like a second sackboy jumped onto the controller and the level patch was showing.

I thought they planned it so that if you scan the QR code with a QR- and Internets friendly device, it would add the level into your queue. Is it so?

Pretty much since android and iphone are the only acceptable phones for anybody with a social life But yeah Mm should make it happen. Would be nice for the app to be able to access ya profile and even show ya sackboy and your stats and then the rest of the lbp.me content within it
