Awesome Idea

Hey guys and girls!!! You know Mm made those videos for like tutorials. I think we should be able to record like as if using a sticker and be able to place it on maybe a video board or something. Also it would be good if you could export it and upload a video of a level you like to youtube, or just to make a trailer/teaser. This would be usful for costume creating tutorials and other level tutorials | 2010-09-23 20:09:00 Author: Unknown User |
A littlebgplanet theater mode? AWESOME I wish they would do that | 2010-09-23 20:18:00 Author: MrRoflWaffles Posts: 12 |
Some kind of video tool would indeed be usefull, yes ! | 2010-09-25 18:25:00 Author: Unknown User |
Maybe a "video camera" object that is placed like the photo camera, but you can connect it to a screen and do some live broadcasting, or record the video for later use. Also connect different cameras using a sequencer to make effects like pan, zoom, cut, etc... | 2010-09-25 18:28:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
i supposed we already could have those TVs as Mm has... | 2010-09-25 18:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
That's not a half bad idea, though I doubt they'd implement that, some people can't handle having that kind of power. | 2010-09-25 19:08:00 Author: X-FROGBOY-X Posts: 1800 |
You don't obviously know what they have created so far... :shivers: | 2010-09-25 19:12:00 Author: Unknown User |
I doubt it will happen, due to the fact a video clip in any sort of quality worth having will be large, and therefore use up a huge amount of thermo space, a workaround I guess is to have a hologram TV screen with sackbot's behind it to imitate a video clip. | 2010-10-04 09:39:00 Author: RAWTalent Posts: 224 |
why not do demo recording in both play and create mode? | 2010-10-04 13:33:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
It would actually be simpler than you think. All you would have to do is record a scene, send it to someone else, and the game engine rebuilds the scene from the materials, sounds, etc. used. Just like in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. | 2010-10-04 14:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
I could see it working. I mean, it's not like the video would be exportable. It would simply record the actions within the boundaries, compress it into a text file, and replay it on the video screen when activated (even better, pre-compile it when the level first loads to reduce lag). The videos didn't seem to be that troublesome in the MM levels. Granted, the ones in actual levels were in the Gardens, but still. | 2010-10-04 16:01:00 Author: EliminatorZigma Posts: 173 |
This can sort of be done anyway. Record a cutscene, make your TV, wire it to a button, viola! I'm not in the Beta so I don't know the ins and outs of it, but i'm guessing it'd work. | 2010-10-04 16:30:00 Author: Fish94 Posts: 554 |
