I need help. I was playing COD4 on my Ps3 then the sound cut off. I put some coasters on the av plugs and it turned the sound back on. Late when i was playing the sound just turned off, and it hasnt turned back on.

Help me!!! What should i do. It is a toshiba. I dont know all the specs but i dont have enough money to get a new tv.

Sounds like you've broke your av socket to me dude
It happens a lot and as you say you can sometimes keep the cables in a certain position and it will work. But sounds like it's finally gone properly now.
No sound for you then
New TV or get your one fixed. Try looking on the web for some TV repair shops in your area
Or you could just hum a tune whilst playing (this method is much cheaper)

You might try jiggling the connection to the PS3 as well. Used to happen with my PS2 all the time and - ironically - has carried over into my PS3 as well. Usually, I use HDMI, but I've had it happen when I was forced to use RCA cables.2008-10-27 19:12:00

Do a barrel roll.

No sorry, same happened to me.(Well, it works a bit but my left soundbox is broken and it sounds like hitting a bag full of chips if I'm listening loud, or with some bass)
I'm looking forward to buy a good sound-system, won't be cheap but I also need my sound loud as live metallica-concert
