An adventure starring Melvin Buttonbottoms. Can you help Melvin find the ghost pirate treasure? An adventure style level with a mine cart ride as well as a few surprises.

(UPDATE)
Fixed the issue with the first window in the house causing ppl to get stuck.
Changed txt at start of level.
Added an addtional text block for the sign at the start of the level.

At the start while on the balloon when its says "Well, the map says, this is the place.... guess I'll go check out that creepy old house."
I could not see any house the whole way down the Balloon's path, although it is obvious what the character meant a bit onwards, It just didn't feel 'Ok' to read that there was a "Creepy old house" ahead of me before i got the chance to see it and be surprised or expect the unexpected.
Maybe change the text to something like "The map says I am in the right area, there should be a house nearby", this way the player does not know the house is old and abandoned (well maybe not abandoned but you get the idea).

Right after the balloon at the small sign, the text looked a bit squashed, you should probably confine each characters dialog to a separate text bubble (another magic mouth) just place another one and give it around a 3-5 second delay (via logic) so when the player is done reading the warning, the character will respond to the sign.

After entering the house if you jump near/behind the second window you will get stuck and will have to retry, maybe move the windows and front wall to the thin layer or use thin gas so that player cannot transition to the front layer while jumping near/at that area.

Other then that it was a pretty solid platformer and a had a nice story to go along with it.

Pretty good level...only a few hiccups that i noticed. During the mine cart section...the cart kept flipping over or getting stuck along the way. I tried a few different techniques ( holding the side or just standing there ) and made the whole way through with sheer luck I guess. Not sure if you meant it to be that way...just figured I'd give you a heads up. I loved the characters and scenery, and overall the level is very enjoyable! 4 stars!2010-09-22 23:01:00

okay, I played the level and here's what I thought.

I liked the intro to the level with the logo plus the cutscene at the beginning. When going in the building, might wanna spread the points out neater, but that wasn;t much f a oproblem. I thought the visuals of the level were good plus liked the different little things to do like pulling the chair to the right or making the giant rock fall, creating a bridge for you. I also enjoyed the minecart ride but it is hard to do it, but it can fall over. I also thought the boss fight wasn't very hard, but kinda fun. The level felt seemed short but still a fun little level. Overall, I gave it :star::star::star::star: Good job,maybe it was just the way that skeleton guy looked but was pretty humorous

I had a great time here:

It was fun from the beginning. The intro-sequence was very cool - the look of the treasure map was awesome! I only would suggest to make these two lamps glowing a bit!?

What I really like here is your sense of humor: the talk of the disappearing ghost is very funny! The house that you enter has a real nice look (the broken windows for example) and to move the skull to the sceleton is a nice idea to open the next door :-) hey, and that first picture to the right was incredible cool: the magic eyes on that one look awesome! The minecart race was also a highlight: I figured out, that you won't bump here when you move to the right side of the cart after the first jump. Very funny section. The rock-bridge was nice and then: the boss-fight! This was pure fun! The look of the big skull, and the way you have to beat him :-) That is absolutely amazing stuff! I mean, ok, it's not challenging, but I think the most important thing here is the fun-element! And this is -for me- top notch!

The level has a very nice atmosphere and I can only recommend this level. Very good work! Love it.
