What would you like to see in a feedback?
Archive: 6 posts
Hey everyone!, I was just wondering what you guys like to see in a feedback. When I say feedback, I mean the ones that are left in your level thread. I've been experimenting a lot, but I can't seem to find the right thing to put into one. Now I'm here asking you what YOU would like to see in a feedback, so I can make more thorough and informative feedbacks. | 2010-09-21 09:04:00 Author: TheNerd Posts: 840 |
I struggle with this problem myself. I suck at giving feedback but i try my best lol. i just post about my favorite parts in the level. | 2010-09-21 09:29:00 Author: SketchNZ Posts: 1668 |
This is a great question! I usually try to be honest and point out any issues that I might have had, but I am always super positive about the things that I liked! It can be easy to go on and on about the issues that you experienced with a level, but that won't help the author out, it will just break their spirit. Instead, I just mention any issues, and then talk about what I really liked :-) | 2010-09-21 15:29:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |
I very rarely give out feedback but when I do I try and structure it Likes : What did you like about the level Dislikes: Anything you didn't particularly take to Theme: Did you like the theme if there is one, did the creator stick to it Characters: Was the level "immersive", did you feel like a part of the level itself Aesthetics: How does the level look? Could it do with some more polishing? Eval: finish off, say things you think could be improved or compliment the creator on where they did well and tell the creator in your post waht amount of stars you gave them Hopefully this will help. | 2010-09-21 17:47:00 Author: Pete1991 Posts: 225 |
I think AFP has hit it right on the head, be super positive at all the awesome bits you saw, but if you came across any problems, make sure they address them and you tell them Oh and smiley faces. Lots of smiley faces | 2010-09-21 21:46:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
