Patience or Solitaire card games in LBP2

Hello out there.

I would be interested to make levels containing various games of solitaire (patience). I know a lot of different types and i play mostly with real cards. But first it would be interesting for me, whether this is possible or not, making different rules.

It should be easy to make a card set, but the question is whether the concept of playing cards is practible or not. I am no beta tester so I know nothing about the possibilities therefor in LBP2. BTW: i have never made a level in LBP, but i have played a lot.

It would also be nice to know, whether the community would be interested about such a project.
But first it would be nice getting informed by a beta tester, whether this is possible.

I'm not a beta tester, but I'm positive it would be quite logic intensive. You'd have to build the cursor and cards, make the logic for the cursor and card placement, make the logic for the numbers of the cards.

But if people are making calculators, I'm sure it's possible. Just sorta hair pulling.

The easiest way for me to figure out if something is possible is to break it down to the general logic involved. I am not sure how you do the cursor interaction but it is possible since it is demostrated in the RTS game MM has been showing off. As for different rules it should just be a matter of having a few magnetic keys on each card. Black and red keys for the color. Maybe 4 of a single color but different label keys for suit. then another color key with the label to match the value of the card. That would be a resonable basis for a deck of cards that you could then use in multple different games.

It is definitely possible and should be too inanely hard but still gives a result of "wow that's cool". Its a pretty good balance of wow factor and difficulty to make.

Well, I am no BETA tester but the hologram material can go through other materials.

Probably the biggest addition as far as materials go is the holographic material. This material allows you create HUDs since it is not solid and translucent. They actually do not have any physical properties at all. They hang in space like darkmatter and can easily overlap each other. Furthermore you can set the colour of them and you are not limited to eight or so colours anymore but have access to a much wider range of shades. When two differently coloured blocks of holographic material overlap the colours mix. What I am getting at here is you could use the hologram as the cards with stickers/decorations as the # and suits.
The new tools such as the movers and DCS can control a mouse/clicker that has a gyroscope and zero gravity (so it can go anywhere). Finally the holographic cards can be set with movers and moved by a click (There is obviously more logic involved but hey I am no beta tester, so I cant tell you what to put. )
