Bernard's Day Out (3D)fenderjt Bernard is a special little boy! He is very excited to see his Uncle for his "day out" but not all is what he expected.... http://i870.photobucket.com/albums/ab262/Tsikina/Untitledkk-1.png I started this level a good few weeks ago and have been working on it on and off. I have decided not to finish it yet and to complete it in LBP2. I have published what I have made so far of the level as a teaser really! So its not really a full level yet I wanted this to be a story. I have used the 3D glitch quite a lot, I haven't used it in a while so I decided to create this level. This level does include game play but as its only part of the level I haven't gone the full way with it yet. I hope you all enjoy playing this light hearted cartoon type level. The level was/is great! Beloved but "bold" humour 5 :star's and a <3 for it I liked the way few elements changed as you progressed, incredible details and good use of the 3D glitch. Really funny level Tia Honestly dont remember laughin so much at a level! Loved the look and feel of the whole thing, and the car scene looks great. Ok I played the level, liked the story and the characters, there were some pretty funny parts as well. I thought the 3D visuals were actually a little messy, there was detail in some places but not in others and it really seemed like the level would have looked alot better if just in the 3 planes. But that's just my opinion. The gameplay was OK, the bounce pad in the city area didn't quite get sackboy up high enough, so I had to time a jump with it. There was also a part when trying to get to the chimney that was a little confusing, I jumped onto some invisible dark matter in front of another material and then onto another platform to get to the rope-swingy thing. I think maybe you should arrange those platforms differently so that they are in different planes and people don't have to jump onto invisible dark matter. Hey Fenderjt As always, you done an excellent job on the layer glitch of your levels and this level is one of the great examples. The gameplay is somewhat good too and the story is funny. I like the part where a character is driving as you it really feels like you're driving a car and the stickering of the bricks worked well. I found a bug of this level though and that's a launcher where you try to get in a chimney as the launcher somehow breaks after the second launch. Also I hear a rotating tool sound somewhere while I'm hanging on to the wire of telephone pool. Funny level, good stickerwork, saw a little green material in the first stream you walk over. The driving was funny, but I wanted to steer a little, you could put something in the front to dodge, but depending on what you use to steer more than one player will cause it not to work at all...found that out the hard way. The next part had an invisible wall to the left once you talked...it would have been better to have the way blocked or you could have a bit of antimatter attached to dissolve attached to piston attached to launcher to avoid it activating until after the bully. Once I got hte ball I moved it the wronf way to hit another wall, maybe just a ledge to make it obvious you have to go the other way...also the pipes looked like a nice idea, but it still looked like you were in the air and not on the pipes. The phone was well designed, but the next area lost me a little, once I figured out where to gothat vent you walk in to get bounced out lets you walk to the left and die if you miss the hidden bounce pad. The rope worked fine...though I don't like ceiling hangs...and this one was a bit long. I could see the jet letting out the smoke where you jump in, a better camera angle or just hide it more with a layer ontop of it. Juping in does the kill and respawn further over, but then when you jump down it kills and respawns for a few inces lower, which seemed pointless...also because the speech bubble are both active it looks a bit annoying with two triangles showing (I can't ever get the second to show if there are two...maybe you hit R1 when you are reading, but I have never been able to cycle to active ones that are too close). Mabe have one with a one shot prox sensor, I could not get to the uncle, but I could not read the speech bubble to see why.
