Fable II or Fallout 3?

I recently realized that my dad never fixed an amazon order I had for a DVD that I don't really need so now I have 20 dollars. I'm dog-sitting this weekend which will net me 20-30 dollars. Also, yesterday I worked with my sister and the rest of the family to clean out the attic so I'll get 20 from that. Which of these should I get? (I have Dead Space, Far Cy 2, LBP, Resistance 2 [coming] and Motorstorm 2 [coming]) I love the open worlds in both. I like the great art direction and scope of Fable II. I love how beautiful the world is. I love Fallout because apocalyptic stuff has always intrigued me. It looks amazing and VERY long. I will explore both game worlds to the fullest. Please Help. (Note: for those that don't know, I cant play games till November 21st, I'm stocking up right now for a giant Play-a-thon ) Please give reason for your choice in a post! I'll be playing Fallout 3 on PC. Then Fable II when it comes out for PC, in like a year or two, if that. >_>2008-10-26 16:29:00

Well I just realized Gears 2 comes out in a few days lol. I DONT KNOW WHICH TO GET!!!!! I'm leaning towards Fable II because the world just looks so beautiful. I want Gears 2 because the first was great. (If your a fanboy, dont comment on this. Gears was a great game, you're in denial) But the downside to those 2 is that I have no Xbox Live membership. It ran out. I have no games where I'm addicted to Xbox live anymore (CoD4 got boring after a year ) but now that Gears and Fable are here, that may change (especially for gears as I heard Fables online wasn't good). Fallout 3 doesn't have online at all and it looks a little dissapointing. I think I'll add gears to the poll (Code-could you change my topic to "Gears of War 2, Fable II, or Fallout 3?" please?) and see how it all plays out. Since I cant play games, theres no rush to buy on release so I'll also wait for reviews.

NO!!! Fable II is something you should definately get, than maybe GoW2 later on.. Fable II has a lot of great features, like you said with the art and the system is awesome, I wish it was on PS3..

I liked Fable 1 better than any of the Elder Scrolls games. I'm guessing that Fable 2 will be better than FO3. Even though I don't have a 360, Fable 2 looks much deeper than FO3 on many levels.2008-10-26 19:32:00

I'm loving Fable 2 more than I ever liked Oblivion if that helps you. I'll download Fallout for PC and if I like it, I'll pay for it. If not, I'll just delete it. My HDD is too small for huge games.2008-10-26 22:04:00

I never really got into Fable 1, so I'm going to give number 2 a miss for a while, maybe pick it up on the cheap if I can further down the track.

Fallout 3 however, I am very excited about. Now if only I could buy the time to play everything.....stupid work. 		2008-10-27 19:00:00
