Welcome everyone to Pod Design Contest, here you will be ask to create a Pod and decorated with the following theme every 2 will be a different theme. Here can show off your Pod designing skills and see which one will come out on top.

Every 2 weeks a new Theme will be added and the previous thread will be lock. Once the next round starts , a new Theme will be posted, and the winners from the previous round shall be announced.

Read the Rules below to learn how to enter the contest.

Only two entry's per user (you do not have to post both at the same time).

Awards will be handed out at the end of the round.

Logo Help.

Hey everyone I was thinking of creating a cool logo for the contest but I can't. So I want you to create me one I need a different logo for each one.

1.The Pod Design Contest
2.Rules
3.Awards
4.Winners

Also whos ever logos look the best I will give away 100XP to each one I like.

Note: You don't have to create all of them just the one you think you can do. If I like the logo I will use it on the next contest and in the future.

I will keep updating this thread so keep an eye out and good luck to everyone!

Recording Help

Also everyone I want to make the next contest incredible just like the spotlight team but I need your help with the logos and probably I will be doing this.

IF this is a biggggg IF, I can find someone that has a good quality recorder at least 720p or higher I will go to the winners pod and record it and probably see how is done so you can do it as well so if anyone wantes to help tell me ok.

But if you want to help me with the recording you have to be this.

1.Be an active member on LBPC.
2.I can't stress this enough be an active member on LBPC and PSN!
3.Have a good quality recorder at least 720p.
4.Be friendly at LBPC members.
5.You need to have something like an HDPVR or something that record video games in 720p or higher and this is very important have and editing system to add some music.

I tried to make it look fall-ish. It's not great, but it's a nice change of atmosphere for my pod, so I'll keep it.

Thanks very much Incinerator.

I used Thor Wing for Nanook, bolts for the rocks with Thor Wing for the ice on the top and the spike for the ice on the front face of the rock. A few barnacles at the base of the rocks gave them a more shear appearance. I made a sticker for the ice flow on the floor which proved a little tricky getting the light to shine on the right bits! I also made a sticker for the rocks in the distance on the windows.

@Arnaldo: I am a little disappointed with the score you gave my pod I must admit. 4 is a bit of an insult tbh. I didn't think it sucked that bad !?

On a side note, no offence but I think you need to check your adding up too. I added them up like this:
1. Icey - 27
2. Eronninja - 25
3. shropshirelass - 24

No need to give me any XP Arnaldo. I'd prefer it if you didn't tbh as I haven't earned any. I was simply pointing out an honest mistake.

Don't worry mistervista, I completely understand. You did the right thing - anything else would have been unfair to Erronninja. As you said it was just an honest mistake and I am still happy to have come third! I've sent Arnaldo back the 200 xp for second place so as he says we're all good now and can get on with the next contest. Some very strong entries so far from everyone else. This is going to be another tough contest.

EDIT: Having posted the photos, I thought people might think the left hand side of the pod was a bit empty, so I've added a snake! In "real life", I think the pod looks better without it but these tiny photos lose so much of the detail, they make the whole pod look a lot more bland. Hmmm...still pondering the snake.

This contest is impressive, maybe try to take part though the competition is difficult, exist pods very goods.

Congrats to Icemaiden, Eronninja and Shropshirelass! I was sure Icemaiden would win on account of her strong love for...well ice.

Now for this contest I'm sad to say I won't be joining this time. It looks impressively intimidating. I mean I have a forest pod but, it's a little on the mediocre side because it was made when I first got LBP. So I wish everyone goodluck and have fun.

Sidenote: Psyntens pod is like candy for the eyes. Not only that but all of you have excellent pod-making skills. I'm eager to see a Tarzan-type pod from here.		2010-09-24 18:50:00

Hey guys, I'm just dropping by to say I'm sorry for not entering the last contest, even though I made it seem like I would :/
I made a pod, but it had too many decorations to the point that when I took a picture, the pod looked invisible
I just thought to apoligise because it made me feel particularly guilty for some reason...

On a lighter note: I must say, all the entries this time around are quite impressive.

Eronninja13, I've been in these contests since Pod contest #1 (excluding the ones I didn't join) and the rules have always been that you can enter two pods but not at the same time if you don't want to. You have an optional choice to make another pod to raise your chances of winning. So he speaks truth, nothing more.		2010-09-28 00:58:00
