Paintanator - emitter gun!

I think it would be awesome if media molecule gave people the option to use the paintanator (which they bought) as an emitter gun! Working the exact same as the creatinator but just looks like the paintanator!!

I realise they are trying to avoid making the game violent by putting a gun which can shoot explosives but people can pretty much make the game as violent as they want(within reason). This would be an awesome feature for me and I don't think it would be too hard to implement!

I totally agree that the creatinator should look like the paintinator..
But yeah.. MM knows we're going to make guns with it, so putting the creatinator on your head gives it a more childish feeling.

It would also be cool if you could create something and then turn it into your own power-up.. Oh the ideas

Put a Controllinator on a sackbot set to look like your character, put something that looks like a gun in his hand (Could probably even use the Paintinator, not sure), use a microchip with an emitter to emit where you want, viola.
Not perfect, but I think it'd work. I'm not in the Beta, so I can't test it, but still.
If the sackbot had the "gun" in his hand, you could put the emitter on it's arm and have it emit directly forward. Therefore, when you move the sackbot's arm, the item emits in the direction you wish.

I would love the option to be able to decorate the paintinator stand any way you wanted to, and then when the gun was picked up, the decorations would stay on, so that it fit the role of "portal gun". Open up some more creative possibilities, eh?

Also, this would probably apply to all powerups (scuba tank, paintinator, jetpack, enhancement remover, grapple hook, power gloves, creatinator). I mean, all of them should have the "decoration" option.

I was thinking something like that but was unsure if you could attach emitters to sackbots? It would be the most brutally awesome idea ever!! You could just set it so that when he lifts his arms he shoots out fire!!

If you can paste emitters on sackbot you can pretend that they shoot thing out of their arms.. That would be more awesome than a gun

I came up with this:
-Make sackbot.
-Put launch pads under its feet.
Super jump timez!

(Oh and with portal gun i also want it to shoot portals... ehe? )

You can also give sackboy the Iron Man costume and make rockets under his feet.

It would be kewl.

MM gave us invisible connector because we (well not me, I wasn't around at the time), brought it up so much, so fingers crossed on this one

I'm fine with the cool hat, but I agree that it should be a gun.

Again, I have no problem with shooting fire bunnies out of a hat though. As long as awesomeness is there...

I don't know if you can do this in LBP2 but it would be cool if you didn't have to emit from the emitter, but just choose the object to emit and then draw an arrow.
The beginning of the arrow show were the object start and the point o.t. arrow shows which way it goes.

That would be awesome! Bring out a jetpack which fires water instead of smoke! And you got to hand it to Media Molecule they do appreciate there fans and community!!

I read the comments above, and yeah, I like both, the paintinator Idea is just problably more logically for some levels that will be made, (The sack 4 dead project, and such). But the Creatinator helmet gives a more future look to me, My favorite new toys will be the grappling hook and power gloves, Legend of zelda levels much, now, LOL.2010-09-19 17:07:00

From what I know, you can lessen how much the sackbot jumps and how slow it walks.
Have an Inventory system, then make it spawn in the "metal boots" sackbot
