This is what interests me. Will I be able to use the tools, stickers, material, etc. from the MGS pack in LBP2 if I didn't buy the DLC?

I'm not sure what the plan is, but I have an inkling that you may get the tools, but not the other create assets. So you may get the water tools, but none of the materials and stickers, and you won't have access to the levels. Who knows though....

Like RTM said, i think you can raise the water in your level, but you don't get any bubble machines and water switches if you didn?t buy the POTC kit. You?ll have the water but still a disadvantage to people with the DLC.

I'm pretty positive water will come with LBP2 whether you bought the PotC pack or not since Mm is using it in their story levels. Not sure about the Paintinator.

water is in the story? *gasp* In the latest trailer it shows Sackboy next to a giant whale in one of the Eve's Asylum levels. They're both floating in water.

lets say you bought lbp game of the year ed. will the Add-ons transfer from goty to lbp2 because i have both lbp (regular) and goty and when i accidentally put the regular one in and tried to use material from the monster kit it wouldn't let me use it,so basically what im saying will the stuff you got from goty transfer to lbp2.

OK, I believe water come with LBP2 even if you don't own POTC. I am pretty sure this is how it is in the beta, someone without water might want to correct me on that though.

I own POTC so I couldn't check, but I am pretty sure that in the beta even if you never owned POTC the water was available. The only reason I think this is because the water switch has had a redesign, however the paint switch never.

the tools may not be in there, remember you can still play levels with water, paintinator, etc, without having owned them i played a few levels with the paintinator before actually owning the DLC. so you may still be required to buy the sets in order to CREATE the assets, nothing stopping you from using them though.
