I read that on Digg a couple of days ago. As of now, my guess is it's a hoax for publicity, or maybe viral advertising. Either way, it's nuckin futs.2008-08-02 02:48:00

it does play well into the whole Plum Island idea but i to think its just a hoax. someone needs to do an autopsy on the thing to really see what it is. be weird if it was a turtle without its shell, though i dont know how long it would last without one.

sounds like the find of BATBOY half bat half boy!!!!...lol

It does look like a turtle w/o it's shell, but turtles are attached to their shell. It'd be like seeing a human without skin, a bird without feathers. Maybe they found out a way to remove it at Plum, then it escaped, but that's improbably. My guess - clever photoshop.2008-08-02 11:54:00

yeah yeah I know but thats why it works so well with the plum island idea, but why would they do that no idea. when the government is paying for it maybe it doesn't matter what you make as long as its weird. most likely photoshop though.2008-08-02 15:47:00

Sorry for bringing this back up but in my opinion they should of not kept the remains they should of put it back in the ocean to go somewhere else i find it kind of sad that everyone is calling it.2008-08-03 22:50:00
