Beta Testing? Wha?

Archive: 4 posts

Basically, one of my levels is coming up to the beta stage and I would really like to know HOW people beta test levels. My brother and I have been testing it, but we both know it so well, and since he always has a running commentary of what to do from me, I don't know intuitive it really is or if there is anything I need to improve.

Is is even possible on the PSP?
Do you create a password code at the beginning of beta test levels?
Is anyone interesting in beta testing for me sometime?

I am not sure if this is on the right thread, but I haven't seen many PSPer's on the Help! thread, so I thought I might take the risk. Sorry if I am breaking the rules!

What on earth was that post above all about?

Ok, Dizzy Zebra. Here's how Beta testing works. There is a beta testing thread lurking around in the Suggestions [PSP] forum somewhere. It will tell you who is availible to test your level. If they're availible, PM one and ask them to play your level.
To stop the community playing the level before it's ready, could could use a Beta Lock. I have made one but I'm trying to reduce it's size at the moment. You will have to somehow lock the level then give the tester details on how to enter. They leave feedback, then your done!
