Playstation Move

Anyone else got it? I preordered and got mine today, and also got a few game demos for it. It make me even more anxious for LBP2, since it'll be compatible. | 2010-09-18 07:16:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |

thats cause PSMove is made by sony | 2010-09-18 07:33:00 Author: YEAH_NAH Posts: 775 |
I was going to make this thread this morning, but work got in the way lol. I picked Move up last night and it is quite impressive. Once the game library for it improves, it will be an excellent addition. I will be ready this next week to play through Heavy Rain again, this time with the Move controller. | 2010-09-18 07:45:00 Author: Spider-Jew Posts: 1090 |
when i get it, i will be playing sword games with it | 2010-09-18 08:11:00 Author: YEAH_NAH Posts: 775 |
I don't actually have it, but it seems like a lot of fun. I've read that its accuracy is pretty impressive. | 2010-09-18 09:03:00 Author: Amigps Posts: 564 |
Look at the PS3. It had a laughable launch, with hardly any games. Now look at it. Standing tall (or taller) with Xbox. The Move will do the same path, so I will get it along the lines, just not now. | 2010-09-18 11:19:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
Got a Wii, don't need a Sony Move considering I never use the Wii anymore. | 2010-09-18 11:21:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
Buying mine in a few hours. Did anyone bought the navcon too, or only the Move? | 2010-09-18 11:23:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Apparently Sony suck at advertising, I only heard it was out yesterday. Not complaining though since I'll never be able to afford it anyway, just saying there'll be lots of people who want it but haven't noticed it's even out... Or am I just blind? Edit: Oh wait, it's way cheaper than I remember it being... maybe I will get it... | 2010-09-18 11:34:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
I will use this... http://www.sensitivefireman.com/ | 2010-09-18 11:41:00 Author: moonwire Posts: 1627 |
I'll probably get it for Christmas. I'd only consider spending the ?35 if a game I really want that is for the Move comes out. I still really want one though, but not enough to spend that much.. | 2010-09-18 12:46:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
Got one 3 days ago, and I love it <3 | 2010-09-18 12:47:00 Author: Alec Posts: 3871 |
I have 190 bucks at gamestop... so I COULD... Just don't feel like spending 100 dollars on Sports Champions essentially at the moment. Plus I want to buy Castlevania and LBP2 with that money so eh. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas... I unno, I still want some more games... Maybe I'll get Killzone 3 just cause. Yeah. But as for right now, I'll wait. | 2010-09-18 13:28:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |

Buying mine in a few hours. Did anyone bought the navcon too, or only the Move? I only bought the Move, for now. At the moment, none of the games really use the navcon, plus using the DS3 will work to save money, which is why I didn't purchase one yet. I tested out holding the DS3 for use as the navcon and it is not too bad. I need a game that uses it though, because I am left handed and want to see if I can switch hands and use the right stick on it so that the Move controller can be used in my left hand. | 2010-09-18 16:18:00 Author: Spider-Jew Posts: 1090 |
A great review of the Move Title "Kung Fu Rider" (http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/841140-games-review-kung-fu-rider-falls-flat-on-its-face) These guys are one of my favourite games reviewers | 2010-09-18 16:21:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |
Well, also, when my dad came home with it, he also brought a playstation eye with him (I think it came with the move?) and it's also useful to the fact that it works as a bluetooth too, or that could happen with all eyes? Anyaway, tried the Eyepet demo yesterday, it was good. | 2010-09-18 16:24:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |
PS Move. I has it,. You have no idea how much this beats the wii. This thing is win. Just... Idk about the games that are out right now... Waiting for LBP2 and scorcery. Didn't get the nav yet, I think the DS3 looks more comfortable, but I havnt held the nav yet, so idk. But, I think I'ma need the charging dock....... Oh,and eyepet is... Strangely addicting. I may have to buy it. | 2010-09-18 19:04:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
People who have it; what games do you have, how good are they? What's on the demo disk? I'm tempted to buy as I know it will be good in the future, but I think I'll wait till then when it's supported with proper games. | 2010-09-18 19:08:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |
I already used up my fancy looking sex toy budget for the month. ^^ i would call that highly innapropriate..... anyone agree? | 2010-09-18 21:29:00 Author: YEAH_NAH Posts: 775 |
No I think it fits in perfectly. | 2010-09-19 08:21:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
Ya it fits...and I thought it was pretty funny that in the manual it states that Move is for use with the hands only...lol | 2010-09-19 08:28:00 Author: Spider-Jew Posts: 1090 |
i think im gonna wait till the move kicks off a bit , i dont see the point in buying it now when there are a few games (and it could fail like the wii did i dunno) but if its a success i will buy it | 2010-09-19 09:43:00 Author: howMUCHforBOUNTY Posts: 623 |
I bought my dil...uhm...Move yesterday along with Sport Champions. I knew Table Tennis was good so I started to playing it, and besides destroying half of my room and making things fall I had a lot of fun. Still I have to try how it works with EyePet (yes I got it day one FOR ME, not wife, mum, nephew, sister whatever) Can't wait to try it with Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5!!! | 2010-09-19 11:39:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Wait wut, it's out? *checks GAME* So it is...and a lot cheaper than thought it was | 2010-09-19 12:05:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Anyone else notice how on Amazon, the starter pack (camera, demo disc and one controller) is ?5 cheaper than just a controller?! | 2010-09-19 12:13:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
Might go get one today? I'm planning on goig to town anyway - seems.... popular? | 2010-09-19 12:19:00 Author: Nurolight Posts: 918 |
i think im gonna wait till the move kicks off a bit , i dont see the point in buying it now when there are a few games (and it could fail like the wii did i dunno) but if its a success i will buy it lolwut? Wii has wiped the floor with it's sales against other consoles. It's a huge success. However, I'll go ahead ad guess you meant fail by it has very few very good games, which I'd agree with. My brother had a Wii (which I used as mine really LOL, was even in my room) and is now selling it. He offered me ?30 but I didn't take it, at the end of the day I knew I wouldn't use it :/ Plus Move is out now which is a more accurate Wii. Just gotta wait for those good games to arrive. | 2010-09-19 13:01:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |
Anyone else notice how on Amazon, the starter pack (camera, demo disc and one controller) is ?5 cheaper than just a controller?! It's because they don't have any of the just controllers in stock so the price listed is a marketplace seller trying to take advantage of the launch scarcity. | 2010-09-19 13:03:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
Ooh, I forgot that this is compatible for LBP2!! In that case, I'm gonna get it for my early birthday!! | 2010-09-19 22:44:00 Author: X-FROGBOY-X Posts: 1800 |
I might get this if it's compatible with some more games. Though I can see myself buying it solely for LBP2. If I have enough after buying Kinect (I was going to buy a camera anyways but I thought I should hold out and get this) Should be interesting. | 2010-09-20 01:03:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |

This is totally better than kinect if your actually serious. O.o | 2010-09-20 03:44:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |

I want to buy it, but it doesn't really have enough games for me to consider buying it right away. I hope I'll be able to buy it near Christmas, november maybe. | 2010-09-21 09:05:00 Author: Black265 Posts: 208 |
This is totally better than kinect if your actually serious. O.o I'm reading reviews and it's sounding better but I have played with a Wii before, it's fun. I know this is more accurate or whatever too. But the technology Kinect uses is a lot more appealing to me. ie: Make your avatar do the Mr. Bean dance. It's only 1 day of work to pay for one of these controllers, so since I already have the PSEye I think I'll buy it for a treat | 2010-09-21 13:58:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |
Out of all the games on Sports Champions I only find table tennis fun but I also think it's extremely good so I don't really regret buying it. | 2010-09-21 18:02:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |

And Sony created....the wiimote. Congratz! And for those that argue that is Faaaaaar more sensitive than wiimote, i will just mention that it is the MINIMUM we could wait, when "the move" is released near 4 years after the wii...lol I will not buy this for now since i have a wii for this kind of gameplay. Maybe this christmas...or not... | 2010-09-21 18:41:00 Author: Takelow Posts: 1355 |

Well, they do have demos, and a bunch of THOSE were a blast... Just err... don't get TV Superstars. It's... weird:S | 2010-09-21 19:27:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |
I heard that Tumble is really good. I'll probably get it when I get my Move. Its ?7.99 in the UK or $10 in the US. (Not sure about anywhere else, sorry) | 2010-09-21 19:39:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
I got it even though I don't think it is what it could be. I think it was a serious mistake for them not to make the Navcon a second Move controller and selling them as a pair. If developers could make games with that as the standard then I think Move would be a guaranteed success. The controller itself is very cool and comfortable. I only tried some games on the demo disk including Start The Party and Tumble and was impressed with the, uh, what do you call it, augmented reality or something like that? It stuck one of those foam hands onto the camera image of the controller and it really felt like I was holding it even when I wiggled it around. It's pretty bizarre. Tumble has you reaching into a 3D space which also felt very cool. I haven't played Sports Champions yet, but I'm hoping it'll be much better than those demos I played. LBP2 is probably the biggest reason I got it. I'm hoping I'll be able to make some fun stuff with it. I'm sure I'll at least be able to make games like The Shoot with it. | 2010-09-21 21:42:00 Author: Reef1978 Posts: 527 |
This makes the wii look totally like a kiddy thing IMO. Just wait for the good games to come. It makes everything look kiddy. Too late for the party? | 2010-09-22 09:08:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |

Move is out? I didn't even notice... Oh, you woulda noticed when you saw those move levels on your LBP2 disk. | 2010-09-22 19:44:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
Sony was expecting a slow launch so i don't think they're bothering with marketing it much, not noticing it's release isn't such a bad sign xD They ARE marketing it, but with the current game library for it they're not making a massive fuss about it. | 2010-09-22 21:24:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
The only marketing I've seen is that yaybuttons crap. It's not as funny without a video of him as a viking. | 2010-09-23 01:01:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |

I just hate it when the consoles take a crack at each other officially. | 2010-09-24 03:20:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |
Started playing Heavy Rain again...this time with Move. So far, I think it is pretty fun. It is implemented nicely and seems to fit well with the game. I enjoy it and it is a plus, since I already had the game, so that is a free Move game for me since I didn't buy any Move games when it came out lol. I figured Heavy Rain and MAG would be fine for now. | 2010-09-24 08:19:00 Author: Spider-Jew Posts: 1090 |
So I've been playing Move a bit today, and I must say I'm very impressed. Eyepet is actually a guilty pleasure... the little pet is very responsive to you and you really do forget just how stupid you look sitting on the floor playing with an invisible animal LOL. But it is fun. Also I played a bit of table tennis and it's so much more fun than the Wii version. The accuracy is fantastic and you really do feel in control of your shots. I must say - I'm impressed. And I do want. | 2010-09-24 22:00:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |
This morning I picked up MOVE, nav controller and Heavy Rain MOVE Edition (includes DLC, soundtrack, themes and "making of" - only available in EU for now). I am about to leave the office and look forward to giving this tech a go in the next couple of hours EDIT: Loving the MOVE | 2010-10-16 12:36:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |

I am so happy I did not pick up Heavy Rain when it launched in anticipation that MOVE support would be added. This is probably the most immersive gaming experience I have ever had. Within 5 minutes I was completely comfortable with the controls (and I never played Wii so up until a few hours ago I was a motion control virgin lol) and the story has me completely sucked in. I can only imagine what they could do with a sequel once MOVE tech is utilized to it's full potential. | 2010-10-17 01:01:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |
