I know others have suggested persistent player data ideas, but I couldn't resist... Yeah, yeah, and I know they're already in beta but I like to blab okay? Why not something that works like internet cookies? In LBP of course they would be actual cookies that sackfolk eat. Thereafter it would work like key-switches; certain sensors would be triggered by sackfolk who have eaten the right kind of cookie.... They're a lot like sticker-switches, really, but automatic. Then we could know when a player is returning to a level, or if it's the first time. Maybe even how many times. Eh, maybe LBP3?

This is what we need, indeed. This can be überusefull when creating a story where you keep returning to 1 start/ main level. I sill doubt it'll be in. =(
