Logic help please?

Archive: 5 posts

Alright, so I'm trying to get a hamster wheel type thing going on, but with a few extra features.

Basically I want to have:
When sackboy runs right (turning the both wheels anti-clockwise), the metal block moves left, and vise versa.

I've been messing around with the 3 way switch with chains, and emitting keys to move a piston which moves the chains, but now I am completely stuck. :/

Anyone care to explain how to achieve this?
Thanks.

Tried and failed.
The best I could muster is if key is on left side it goes one way, right side goes the other way.
If you constantly run the 3-way switch just toggles back and forth. :/
I'm not too good with logic ha.

On a second inspection I see you move the extra circle with mag switches along with it, smart. Doubt I would be able to do that though.
Have you tired using cogs instead?

Yeah, what Incinerator said, you can customize them to do 2 seperate things, one if you run left and one if you run right. Though in your instance, you could just probably hook up the 3 way switch to the piston and it would work just fine that way. I have one of his in my current w.i.p level and it works great!
