''Lift Off!'' (& ''Mushrooms and Dragons'')

''Lift Off!'' (& ''Mushrooms and Dragons'&aposCatfood86
Rather difficult levels, not for those who only want to score bubbles. We actually wanted to make levels that can compare with the official ones. See the thread itself for a description of the levels.
Lift Off!
Sackboy is in a cave and wants to get away from where he is. First, though, he has to solve some puzzles involving a hungry fish and his treasure cave (where you also can release the crabs, which you need). But when he gets outside the cave, there are also monkeys who are throwing electric bananas. In this level you can also find a two level puzzle.

This level is made mostly by my boyfriend (Catfood86), but I did help for most of the time. We like the levels that are really a challenge but are nicely made as well the most, so we tried to make a level that is both challenging as nice to look at.


Mushrooms and Dragons
In this level, Sackboy has to jump over mushrooms to survive some stinky swamps and he has to make some real difficult jumps. His reward? A dragon that is guarding his way out. So shoot the **** thing!

Again, mostly made by my boyfriend. This one he actually did more on his own than with me (impatient, just like me!), but I did come up with the mushrooms and the title (yay!). But most credits go to him, especially the dragon is awesome.


Tips and comments are always welcome. We don't play as much as we used to, because we already aced everything, found all of the stickers and did a lot of the harder community levels and the levels don't get played that much (waste of time making more then). But we're waiting for LBP2 and it would be fun if we can top the levels we made now when the time is there, because we enjoy making them.

I played your "Lift off" level Sambal. It was a simple but enjoyable level. There's some things you can change to make it better. First, make switches invisible. Most of the time you don't want the player to see your logic. I also saw that you used some of the creatures from the Story level (the ones from the canyon level that move around. It's kinda frowned uopn in general not to add the creatures from the story level. Try and make some of your own. Even if the first ones aren't very good, at least you can call them your own.

The visuals were fine, and the monkeys were nice as well, although they were a bit wild when they jumped around when the winch pulled them. Thats something else you should make invisible, just to make the monkeys seem more alive, and not tethered to a rod.
