"Find all posts" doesn't seem to work.

Archive: 19 posts

Whenever I click "Find all posts" on my profile it only comes up with the two threads I've started, leaving out my other posts. Why is this happening, and is there a way I can fix it?2010-09-14 15:24:00

That's weird. Works fine for me. There's a "find all posts" and a "find all started threads" - what your describing sounds like the thread one. What browser are you guys using?2010-09-14 16:01:00

I only see 25 pages of posts, equaling to 488 posts, when I have 2.8k, I wanna see my old posts. 2010-09-14 16:07:00

hmm, noticed this problem too. I'm using firefox and can't see all of my posts if I click that button. Hehe, and that used to be my lazy way of keeping up with the threads I've replied to! 2010-09-19 18:02:00

I think this is a very bad problem. Find all posts was a tool I constantly used but now it may not show up to two weeks of someone's most recent posts. (For me, anyway.) It started after an LBPC update a few weeks ago.2010-09-19 18:09:00

Yeah, it's really annoying, it doesn't work for me either. I post like fifteen times a day and when I click 'Find all Post' it only shows about two. :tophat:2010-09-19 18:29:00

Doesn't work for me either, maybe its the new design. Unless its an old one. I haven't checked in a while.

For me it only shows about 2 in every 5 posts.

Please excuse this necro-bump. I was going to start a new thread related to this issue, but it makes more sense to use this one.

When I click 'Find All Posts' from my profile, or 'My Replies' from the quick links bar, it doesn't seem to return all of the desired results. I have posted a handful of times on the forum, but it only comes back with one result (my first post).

It is as if all of my other posts are non-existent, according to those searches ^

If it is a bug, as people seem to think, is it something that vB need to fix on their end? Or is it a problem within the LBP Central style templates?

Either way, it's quite an important forum feature, and it would be great to see it fixed.

Thanks!

While we are at it, the search function doesn't work very well either.2011-02-04 12:15:00

Yeah. vBulletin is a little broken, sadly. Best thing to do is google for "site:www.lbpcentral.com (search terms)" - it's still superior to vB's search even when it's working correctly.

I remember this used to work on LBPC. (It's how I found all my posts, etc)
When/why did it stop working? On a "upgrade" or something?

Same here, I can narrow a time window: I haven't left any posts between june and january, but all it finds now, are the ones half a year ago. The search says: "10 min ago generated"... Needs fixing SOON, it's an important feature in a forum! Please?!2011-02-05 09:51:00

A little thing I've found to help those for whom it doesn't work is just to edit each post you make, you don't have to change anything but just go through the motions of editing and it pops up in the "my started threads". Works for me anyhow.

This could be a browser thing, I'm on Rockmelt which is effectively Chrome+features.
